I stay at a large number of Marriott properties each year and have to say this is one of the best I have stayed at in the last couple of years. The room was very clean and fully equipped, including a foot stool for the in-room chair. I mention this since many of the Marriott's I have stayed at recently... More

stayed here a ton of times. great location within two blocks of fishermans wharf.. surprising its a quiet hotel though on busy streets. no pool or hot tub here. exercise room is adequate. food in the bar/restaurant is above average. try the flat bread. drinks are a little pricey in the bar, so if you are doing a little bit... The rooms were...fine. Thats it. The only plus to this hotel was that service was very friendly My only real complaints were that the hallways were freezing (like being in a meat locker) and that the only window in the room was completely blocked by a WALL of trees that were right up against the building There was absolutely no... Hello dm1918, Thank you for sharing your feedback about our very friendly staff. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with our hotel's location and the fisherman's wharf in general. Location is very convenient to access restaurants, bars, stores, trolleys. Front desk staff is very helpful. Restaurant is standard fare, bar was pretty busy and hopping during the week. Rooms are standard Marriott and fitness center is standard also. If you are a walker/runner then this location is great to get to Historic Fort Mason part of the Golden Gate... More

Excellent location. Great staff. We had a room on top floor overlooking interior green space. The staff made great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast area is just off lobby and not very large so time meals to avoid morning rush hours. I recommend upper floors as street level could be noisy as the hotel in in busy tourist area. The hotel... More

We stayed her for two nights at the end of a trip. The staff were very helpful in all respects, we had our 6 month old with us and everything was provided for us, they even gave us a microwave and an additional kettle to help with sterilising bottles etc. Our car was broken into while in SF(not at the... Very, very close to many of San Francisco's tourist areas. My husband and I parked the car and walked everywhere--Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, Cannery Row, cable cars, Lombard Street, China Town, Little Italy, and more. Lobby, rooms, and halls all appeared clean and in good repair. Front desk and car valet people were extremely pleasant, helpful, and inviting.... More

The wife had work in San Francisco and chose this hotel. I came along for a mini-vacation. The hotel has a great location, only a couple of blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. As others have pointed out parking is expensive ($50 per day as of this writing) but is in line with the area hotels and garages. Parking is tight in... More

We have stayed at this hotel three times now and have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience. Beyond this hotel's great location (near Fisherman's Wharf, cable cars, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard, etc.), this Marriott is clean, comfortable, in a safe neighborhood, and has a nice lounge in the lobby. If you drive, parking is expensive (it IS San Francisco after all!), and... More

Everything is spotless and the staff are very helpful, the only downfall was that there was no free wifi or bottled water in the rooms. It almost seems the more you pay, the less you get. Room was clean and quiet, staff were extremely helpful!
