Perhaps our corner room afforded a little more space, but we were delighted with the ability to move around our queen size bed, desk, couch, and coffee table--you can't always do that in San Francisco! The room was clean, comfortable, and attractive, with original artworks on the wall (marked with prices, in case you wished to take home a souvenir!).... More

I love the Laurel. When we've stayed here the service has always been above and beyond. When we've brought our 4 legged friends, they were greeted in the room with doggie beds, bowls, and treats. We chose the Laurel Inn for all our family and friends to stay at for our wedding, our experience was amazing. The attention to detail... More

We originally stayed at the Laurel Inn, about ten years ago, because they welcomed pets. We've returned regularly, four to five times a year, because of the warm and welcoming staff. There are a number of good restaurants close by and it is in a wonderfully walkable neighborhood. For longer stays, the Laurel Heights shopping area, just a few blocks... More

Location was perfect for us, room was great, but what sent it over the top was the friendly, kind helpful staff. Staff gave us an excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant, as well as directing us to a great workout facility across the street.

My daughter and I stayed at the Laurel Inn because it was close to both the USF and the home where she would reside during her second year. The room was comfortable, the service amazing and I didn't have to move my car every two hours. I'll be staying again in a couple of weeks as my daughter is inducted... More

I first stayed in the Laurel MOTOR inn in 1963 when my twin cousins were born. My gramma took me and I remember the thrill of taking the elevator down one floor and getting breakfast. That was a long time ago. I stayed there next in 1976 when my house, about 12 blocks away, burned down. Still, we were close... More

We were looking for a hotel near the University of San Francisco to drop-off our son (who was attending his first year) and stumbled upon the Lauren Inn. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Denise, in particular was very helpful. ** Another plus, the "Laurel" was relatively close (proximity-wise) to Trader Joes, Best Buy and Target (Star Bucks). Our... More

We stayed at The Laurel Inn because of a recommendation. My daughter just started college nearby and we needed a close hotel. This hotel is small and quaint. We checked in a little late and by that time there was no parking on the top level. Tanya at the front desk said she would move her car so we could... More

I've wanted to stay here for years but it semed to always be full, so I was ecstatic to find a room. I stayed over a weekend, August 1st to the 3rd. There were three problems I feel I should mention. We were in room 103 and the bathroom was very tiny; the toilet seemed to be shoehorned into the... More

Wonderful ambience! Friendly welcoming staff ! Wonderful bed, sheets and comforters ! Love the renovation taking place. Excellent view of the city. Quiet ! Only issue would be to add to the continental breakfast . The delicious roll is not quite enough
