So far have enjoyed our stay. Had to ask to see if internet fee could be waived. They gave me a card that said yes it is waived, but the truth will be told after we receive our bill. Room is clean and comfortable.

Before making our reservation, we read the reviews at tripadisor.com which warned of some noise from the street. We called this Hyatt and specifically requested a quiet room. A few days later we received an email from a manager addressing our request--which we greatly appreciated. Our room was on the 15th floor and it was quiet. This Hyatt is directly... More

Stayed three nights. Front desk at check in was very cordial and professional. Housekeepers were friendly and very accommodating to our schedules and requests. The inner atrium was impressive ( IMHO) and the glass elevators were pretty cool. Our room was clean and spacious. The beds were firm and very comfortable. No sagging mattress here. The vanity area was separate... More

We spent 6 days at the Hyatt Regency. It is clearly a conference/business hotel. The room was comfortable but the hotel is updating the rooms, this was one of the older yet to be updated rooms. The bed was comfortable but the furnishings have seen better days. Our room had a balcony with a view of the bay. The location... More

Could not bear to leave this hotel even though the rooms were spacious. Many other leading brand of hotels in Asia had more stylish interiors, bottled waters and other amenities you would appreciate. This is by far a very dated hotel by any standard and I would not stay here again.

1. Cost: If you spend more than $180 you're paying too much. 2. Parking: DO NOT accept Valet Parking...it will set you back $65 per night. Park at the nearest lot and walk to the hotel. 3. Amenities: Wi-Fi is expensive...no continental breakfast...just free am coffee and a paper. 4. Location: Great location across from the Embarcadero...but a block north/south... More

Positives: - Great view from my room. - Hotel location was convenient, in terms of access to public transport and nearby attractions. - Many staff were friendly, and made the effort to greet me by name when providing service. - Extremely high levels of cleanliness, both in my room and in the common areas of the hotel. Negatives - I... More

I visited this hotel for a conference so did not venture out much. The hotel has an impressive lobby but feels dark, dated and impersonal. However the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Ask for a room overlooking the bay for stunning view. The hotel had few amenities (stores, restaurant) for such a large place. However, there are so many... More

This was a hotel that I wanted to love - it was one of my favorite stops 30 years ago when business brought me to SF frequently. It still has internal architecture that impresses and a fabulous location across from the ferry building near the waterfront. But it seems to have lost its personality over the years. With long-term sewer... More
