We stayed at this Hyatt as it was walking distance to the Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, and waterfront. It was very clean with an excellent front desk staff. Our fifth floor room had a coffee maker (one thing most Hyatts lack) and a coin operated washer/dryer in the ice room/vending area. This is a must for a family of 5 doing... More

Very happy with the location. We were able to walk to dinner and rent bicycles as well. Very spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Excellent service. Loved the on site sports bar. Would stay again!!

We had a conference suite which was very large and had a room with two queen beds and a room with a kitchenette, large table, separate full bathroom and sofa bed with lots of sitting area. This was more then comfortable for a family of five. The hotel is very well situated at the wharf and close to everything you... More

Walking distance to Pier 39 and 33 (Alcatraz Tour) Hotel was flawless. Staff was friendly and helpful Immaculate Service. Would stay here again. Valet parking was a little pricey but it was in and out 24 hours.

Stayed in the Hyatt and It turned out to be a good choice. Had to stay in the Hilton a couple blocks further for a night and that was ready for an upgrade. Friendly staff, but it was not as lively, older furniture, closed bar, ... The Hyatt, with it's stylish restaurant and wine bar is definitely ranked higher for... More

PROS: Friendly, accommodating staff, outdoor pool/hot tub, excellent location...2-3 blocks from Wharf, tour departures, restaurants, cable cars, Walgreens, and anything else you'd need CONS: Terrible lighting (even with all shades open), small (but to be expected with cost of real estate in Bay Area), sewer smell at lobby and elevator bay (we noticed windows were open and cleaning people were... LOCATION & FACILITIES: 3 ½ /5: At Fisherman’s Wharf, you are within easy walking distance of good restaurants, Pier 39, the Alcatraz Ferry and the cable car stop. However, I think it’s a bit of a shame that there are also a number of lower quality tat / souvenir shops in the area (fortunately, not the same street as the... More

We stayed here for one night while my husband was swimming the Alcatraz race. Normally we'd stay at the race hotel (the Argonaut) but we had a voucher for a free night so we reserved here. However, it was not really what we expected from a Hyatt Hotel. It was pretty old and it felt a little dark and grungy.... More

We stayed here for four nights. The location is great for Fisherman’s Whalf with all the main attractions in the area being a short walk away. The hotel and rooms are of a high standard and are very quiet. The concierge and guest services were extremely helpful with dinner reservations, recommendations and other requests. I would certainly stay here over... More
