I usually opt for tiny boutique hotels, but this time I wanted to be in the "thick" of the wharf and always try to stay at Hyatts when possible (Gold Passport member), so this was a perfect choice. The rooms were spacious and airy. The hotel staff were fabulous (I actually wrote an email to the GM afterwards to say... More

Stayed here for a week and couldn't be more pleased with the staff (extremely helpful, friendly and professional), location, amenities and overall value of this hotel. Had an oversized room on the 5th floor and was very pleased. The location is a great jumping off point to all areas of SF by cable car (Mason-Hyde stop directly behind hotel), trolley,... More

I've stayed at several other properties in the Fisherman's Wharf area (Sheraton, Radisson, Holiday Inn), but decided to give the Hyatt a try last night. In my opinion, this is the best of the 4. The room/bathroom was clean & updated....modern decor, comfy beds, flat screen tv's, ipod docking station (impt. since we only brought 1 charger for 2 iphones),... More

I'm not a fan of the Hyatt Chain. When my cab pulled up I assumed my company was seriously tightening the purse strings. The lobby is *very* basic, but don't judge a book by it's cover. * Rooms: modern, neat and spacious. * Gym: top quality, especially for a hotel * Pool: I didn't even know there was a pool... More

Having been to the Hyatt in Australia I had high expectations coming to this one, unfortunately the level of quality and features was very disappointing . The room lacked the following : 1- no mini bar fridge ( useful when you want to store your own drinks and food ) 2- no iron included 3- tv reception on many channels... More

Nice accommodation in a beautiful part of San Francisco. the rooms are pretty much up to date and in very good condition. my only complaints are the lack of bar fridge in the room and the sliding door into the bathroom wasn't very private.

The service by the hotel staff was wonderful. Our flight arrived early, and they allowed us early check-in. The rooms were very nicely appointed, and extremely clean. Relaxing view and bed during our four day vacation!

Great location with an easy stroll to Fisherman"s Wharf area. Rooms are good size and bathrooms are also large. Our room had an interior view over the courtyard and was at the rear of the hotel, so it was very quiet.
