The Hyatt was a very comfortable place to stay. Very good service and the restaurant was pretty good too. Good beds, pillows, linens, climate control. We stayed there during the 2012 US Open Golf tournament. Very convenient for public transportation, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Only criticism is that the wi-fi should be free. Would stay again.

For any other hotel would have been average. For a Hyatt this is sad. Hotel is average at best, hallways need redone, room furniture was well worn, bed just ok, etc.. Everything was on par with a nicer Best Western or something like that, but this was over $300 a night. The staff was good except for conciege with little... More

I put my mother up at this "4-star", $317/night Hyatt property for 3 nights in July. The furniture in the room was shabby (ie, dilapidated - not "shabby chic"), the concierge literally could not offer a single suggestion for a winery to visit for a day-trip to Sonoma (or bother to try finding one) or even provide a printed map... Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your mother’s recent stay. It is very disappointing to learn that her experience was less than ideal. Please know that the level of service she experienced is not something our guests should expect while staying at our property. I will share your mother’s experience with the concierge staff with the... More

Great spot within walking distance to the piers. Excellent service at reception and our son was provided a rollaway bed at no extra charge. The beds were large and comfortable. No mini bar or fridge in the room, unfortunately. There was a mix up with our dry cleaning, which was not done on time, but we were nicely compensated with... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Very clean, and the staff was very courteous. A couple of things to be aware of: 1) Only valet parking available. I think it's 45 dollars per day. 2) The bathrooms are nice, but designed in a strange way. For example, the bathroom door... More

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon for 6 days in May 2012. The hotel is clean and comfortable. My first impressions were of it being rather dark in its decor and could have done with a lighter feel through the corridors and rooms. But as a base for seeing the sites and city it was a good... Stayed for four nights before a cruise to Alaska. Hotel is in a fantastic location, just minutes from the Wharf and its excellent restaurants, just around the corner to the street car station. Close enough to walk to Chinatown. Staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms spacious and clean. Didn't pay for the expensive breakfasts at the hotel but... More

Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt has a friendly, helpful front desk staff, great location, and fun sports bar! They put us in an oversized King room with a view of the bay-NICE.
