Overall, the hotel was average for us. It definitely wasn't what we hoped it would be. The rooms were disappointing. Very outdated and needs renovation (hence the construction). There was no fridge in the room and the remote was difficult to figure out. The shower was horrible and it felt like a cold shower because there is no shower door.... More

Originally we were booked for 4 nights at another SF hotel. After checking in very late at night we decided to sleep with our clothes on and not unpack the cart so we could check out first thing in the morning. We called around and found the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf. What a huge difference. When we walked in it... More

What an amazing review! I am so glad to see that we were able to turn a not so great experience in San Francisco into an amazing one! I like that you enjoyed our rooms and appreciate the feedback regarding the fridge and microwave. I will be sure to give kudos the the front desk and housekeeping teams for the... More

We choose this Hyatt over the Holiday Inn Express across the street simply because of location and heated pool. I can not speak for that Holiday Inn Express but I would not stay at this Hyatt again. Rooms a bit rundown such as our privacy shade had holes in it. Also most of the rooms face each other which lacks... More

Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, rooms were comfortable and upgraded. If you want to stay by the Wharf I would definitely recommend this hotel. However, if you want to be closer to other tourist areas such as Union Square I would recommend the other Hyatt. My biggest con is the lack of free internet in the room, however I... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay. I like that you enjoyed the service we provided, our delicious breakfast, comfortable rooms and great location. You are certainly correct about the Internet as beginning February 2015 all our hotels will provide free WiFi access. I hope you get to stay with us again. Warm Regards, Belinda... More

This is a VERY busy, basic Hyatt, similar in service/quality to their business hotels. You are paying for the location. The front desk staff seems overwhelmed andunderstaffed, but doing their best. Bell desk was very helpful, especially David who was a life saver as our group was traveling with 3 small children. This property is going to be renovated in... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. In the past, we were very pleased with this hotel. It is nicely located near Fisherman's Wharf, many restaurants and public transportation. It is still a nice stay but definitely showing its wear and tear. The hotel needs an upgrade soon. The good: The staff was friendly... More

We stayed in this Hyatt for 1 night en route to a wedding. Thank god it wasn't any longer. The checkin was weird, there was a small of burning rubber in the elevators, the rooms were dingy, and frankly, the sheets had that feeling that you weren't all that sure if they were properly clean. Moreover the blinds to the... More

The Hyatt is a lovely hotel located within walking distance to Pier 39, Starbucks, Trader Joe's and many other restaurants and shops. They did not have a suite available for the nights we were staying and offered connecting rooms for a reduced rate. The rooms were rather spacious with nice beds, an entertainment center, desk area and a large bathroom.... More

The hotel is nicely located, close to public transportation, and within walking distance to the Fisherman's Wharf. The staff are friendly. The room is spacious and nice. The lobby could have been more spacious but fully adequate. The only complaint that we have is that there is only one elevator hub at the hotel, which means many of the customers... More

Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience at Hyatt at Fisherman’s Wharf. I’m glad the location was convenient for you and you enjoyed your spacious room and friendly staff. I do understand your concern about the elevators being quite far from some room, but I am happy you had an overall great experience. Warm... More
