I would never recommend staying in this part of San Francisco but, if you need to stay in the Fisherman's Wharf area of town the Hyatt there has undergone renovations and has a very modern and tranquil feel. I was there for a business conference and the 15 minute walk to/from Pier 27 was just enough walk in the right... More

We left our P&O Cruise ship for a two day stay in San Francisco. Well placed for us to catch the 'old tram', boat to Alcatraz, and the Sourdough Museum so suited our purpose. Large clean room with two queen beds and well appointed bathroom.

Stayed at this hotel for a conference and agree with other commenters. The place should not be hosting events, or even guests, at full price right now. Taxi from airport pulled up to the main entrance to find it all blocked off with no signage visible indicating an alternate entrance. Driving slowly around the block, the driver spotted an open... Attended a conference here and was horrified that the property would even attempt to host an event like this during renovation. Noisy. Ridiculous roundabout paths to get to your room. And a "renovated" room with scratches and dents on the walls and furnishings. Nowhere near with the nearly $300 a night rate. Very disappointing.

This Hyatt has been renovated since I last stayed here. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, its in a good location and rates are reasonable. On the other hand, the renovated rooms have strange styling. It's hard to explain, but think beach theme meets 70's office furniture meets modern tech. Also, you now order room... More

Stayed here in late February 2015 with wife for 3 night get-a-way. If I rated this place on location only it would be 5 stars, but this place needs help. The whole place is under construction and it is loud. Saturday morning the workers were dumping stuff in the dumpster outside my window at 5:30 am. We could hear every... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a business trip. My company paid for the entire stay. Use the Taylor Street entrance for your drop off and pick up, there is a bellman stationed outside to help you with your bags as there is a staircase right inside the front door. The front desk personnel are temporarily located right... More

Very close to fisherman's wharf without having the souvenir shops in front of it. Room are ok, quite spacious, wi-fi working. No real breakfast available, only some products on a table, better to go outside. Overall decent price-quality ratio

This hotel is nothing special although the location is good. It's clean, the rooms are nice and the bar pours a good glass of bubbles. It is true that a lot of hotels start to look and feel the same and that was my experience in this hotel. That said it was towards the end of a 5 week trip... More
