We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid-May 2012. We had a king room (basic) on the 5th floor which overlooked the pool/hot tub. Check in was fine. The woman was polite and check in was quick and easy. The woman provided us with a map of the area and gave us her card and said we could... More

Very good hotel in great location, especially for tourists looking for a "base" close to Fisherman's Wharf. Exactly what you would expect for a Hyatt - Friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms. The hotel is a short 2 block walk from Fisherman's Wharf... Just close enough for a quick stroll to the sites, but far enough removed from the tourist... More

One small elevator from the lobby is not what I would expect other than in a small boutique hotel in Europe. The concierge seemed to be surly and a little condescending when asked a simple question regarding walking directions. We parked the car with the valet, which is terribly overpriced at $51.30 per night including tax.

Arrived with no luggage as someone had taken the wrong case at the airport and the reception staff were so apologetic you would have thought it was their fault. They comforted us by giving us a free breakfast , fluffy bathrobes and best of all -free internet. The bar and restaurant staff were equally friendly & helpful . We had... More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the concierge was very helpful with planning some sight seeing. The location was so close to everything we wanted to do at the wharf. We had no problem with street noise and our room faced the street. If you... More

Arrived after a 11 hour flight to be greeted by lovely welcoming staff. We had booked two rooms and requested for them to be close by. One room was ready so they said to us to all go and wait in the one room and they will bring the keys down to the room. They were at the room with... More

the hotel was pretty good, everything worked and had what we needed in a good location but they didn't greet us at check in for valet or bell hops and we were stuck juggling grand parents and kids an cars and bags... then when we left, they didn't seem to have their breakfast staff wired tight and folk were leaving... I enjoy Hyatt's and was happy to stay here, and it was a good hotel, but there is nothing special about it. Good things were the pool, the room size, reception's friendliness and location. The concierge was mainly helpful, but misunderstood one of my requests and I had to chase it up, though they put it right later. Breakfast was... More

We stayed in this hotel on our US trip last year and even though it was only for one night they left a lasting impression. On arrival in SF, my husband felt very poorly so I rang the hotel to see if we could check in early (11am). They didn't have our room ready but upgraded us to a suite... More

This hotel is trying really hard, you can tell by the way the people are so courteous. But though the location is great (very near Fisherman's wharf) and the building facade is the nicest in the neighborhood, I was really disappointed with the rooms; dull grey walls, chipped furniture, and though clean, the bed was uncomfortable, I nearly rolled out...
