Hotel is very close to Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf. Room is comfortable and nice size. Room did need some repairs. Blinds torn and couch had burn mark on it. Furniture shows signs of ware. Nice bathroom but shower only. There is a Safeway store 3 blocks away if you want snacks or sandwiches. Hotel parking is very expensive.

Love the location of the hotel - easy walk to Pier 39, restaurants and supermarkets. The room was tired looking and would benefit from an update. The beds were small and not very comfortable - (we had a double room). We had a room facing the courtyard and it was very quiet enough.

After a disappointing stay for one night at the Hilton we moved to the Hyatt the next morning. We were welcomed by Luz at the front desk and David the bellman on duty. Luz checked us in and told us our room wasn't ready yet. We didn't expect it would be but wanted to check in and drop off our... More

If you want to be close to Pier 39 this is a great location. Rooms are getting a bit tired, but it seemed like renovations were starting. An update is needed. Ask for a room facing the courtyard on a higher floor. You do not want to be on the 2nd floor facing the street it is loud and very... More

This hotel could really do with updating. It's nicely positioned but we had no view from our room, and couldn't see that many rooms here would. The bed was quite comfortable and clean but the carpet was stained and decor shabby. Walls a bit thin and could hear the couple next door. The. 2 coffee sachets and 1 tea bag... More

The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. I believe her name was Leslie. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean. The view was not impressive as there was none. We looked out to the other side of the building. But who really cares we weren't there for view. The coffee pot was hidden in a... More

This Hyatt is perfectly located for the Wharf tourist. The hotel can use a remodel but all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the financial district, Chinatown, Ghirardelli, and union square (I am a NYer and I enjoy walking). The cable car is a lovely way to get back to the Wharf... Overall, the hotel was average for us. It definitely wasn't what we hoped it would be. The rooms were disappointing. Very outdated and needs renovation (hence the construction). There was no fridge in the room and the remote was difficult to figure out. The shower was horrible and it felt like a cold shower because there is no shower door.... More

Originally we were booked for 4 nights at another SF hotel. After checking in very late at night we decided to sleep with our clothes on and not unpack the cart so we could check out first thing in the morning. We called around and found the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf. What a huge difference. When we walked in it... More

What an amazing review! I am so glad to see that we were able to turn a not so great experience in San Francisco into an amazing one! I like that you enjoyed our rooms and appreciate the feedback regarding the fridge and microwave. I will be sure to give kudos the the front desk and housekeeping teams for the... More

We choose this Hyatt over the Holiday Inn Express across the street simply because of location and heated pool. I can not speak for that Holiday Inn Express but I would not stay at this Hyatt again. Rooms a bit rundown such as our privacy shade had holes in it. Also most of the rooms face each other which lacks... More
