Nice place to stay unless you are a smoker. Most hotels at least treat us with respect and a place to sit. Hyatt treats smokers like they are SUBHUMAN, relegating us to standing in the driveway with no where to sit and huffing exhaust fumes. Thanks Hyatt!

We have just returned from a few days in the Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco as the first part of our trip through California. Overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience but with a few items that could be improved. Let’s start with the positives and there are many – the location is really wonderful, being right on the... More

The walls are thin – I could hear a family talking and a baby crying in the next room, so I requested a room that would be quiet. The request for a new room was handled quickly, seamlessly and with absolutely no fuss, so the hotel gets full credit for how my request was handled. Unfortunately, the building is what... More

Staff was nice and tried hard. Excellent location, should have been a bit more for a Hyatt I thought it was ridiculous that the elevator you needed to avoid hauling your bags down the stairs was broken when we arrived, and broken when we left 5 days later. Reading the trip advisor reviews it appears that it's broken six weeks... More

We had an excellent stay at this hotel (October 5-9, 2014), and would stay there again. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The concierge services were excellent and they provided us with excellent advice on things to do in San Francisco.

Great property to spend business or vacation time. Staff is attentive and the property has an intimate feel. Easy to get to, near excellent restaurant and entertainment options, the charms of the City await.

I love Hyatt hotels, and this one is well located, with excellent service at checkin and big bright rooms, however after arriving I found the room to be dusty, I usually wouldn't care much for a bit of dust , but this one was dusty in need of a good duster.... a no go for people with allergies. Maybe it... More

Good Hotel with an excellent location to all tourists destinations on wharf or bridge. Easy access to trolley car that takes you to Union Square. Walking distance to Pier 39 and all the restaurants on the wharf. Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff. Take the Limo to the airport only $65 including tip. Makes for a much more comfortable ride and... This is not what we expected for $400 a night: there was no fan in the bathroom. There was no place to hang anything in the bathroom (damp towels, a robe, wet bathing suits, etc.) The toilet paper was so far behind the toilet that you had to be a contortionist to get to it. The shower head was ridiculous:... More

We spent four nights in this property about three blocks from the bay. The staff was efficient and attentive. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and the building quiet. It's a strange architectual set up though with two rectangular wings of rooms. The outside rooms don't have much of a view. In one of the rectangles the... More
