The hotel is perfectly located just back from the main strip and within easy walking distance of fishermans wharf, as well as the Italian quarter and Chinatown. Rooms are large and well equipped. Parts of the hotel are under refurbishment so noise may be a problem in some areas.

Overall I really liked the hotel, the price was comparable to others in the area and the room was a good size compared to other places I have stayed in Fisherman's Wharf. I felt the paid internet was uncalled for and should be free, but otherwise was very happy.

For how much you pay it would be nice to not be able to hear people next to you. The walls are super thin. The rooms need upgrading, or at least the decor could be better. The shower looks dirty. I stayed here because the Hyatts are usually pretty nice, at least where I have stayed.

The Hyatt is in a good location for a small to mid size group event. Easy half mile walk to the Italian district with lots of restaurants, and of course right next door to fisherman's wharf. Great job with the food service for all of our meals, creative and quality options at every meal!

A great location whether a visitor for vacation or busisness. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, SF Bay and Fisherman's Wharf. It's a n easy walk along the Bay, grab a cable car or trolly and taxis are plentiful for more distand jpurneys. The hotel staff are very professional and responsive to requests. Good spacious, clean and well... More

Excellent location, 2 blocks from the Wharf / Pier area. Excellent front desk staff. Very good restaurant for breakfast, which all we used for this trip. Only negative comment is no WIFI in the rooms.

Nice place to stay unless you are a smoker. Most hotels at least treat us with respect and a place to sit. Hyatt treats smokers like they are SUBHUMAN, relegating us to standing in the driveway with no where to sit and huffing exhaust fumes. Thanks Hyatt!

We have just returned from a few days in the Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco as the first part of our trip through California. Overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience but with a few items that could be improved. Let’s start with the positives and there are many – the location is really wonderful, being right on the... More

The walls are thin – I could hear a family talking and a baby crying in the next room, so I requested a room that would be quiet. The request for a new room was handled quickly, seamlessly and with absolutely no fuss, so the hotel gets full credit for how my request was handled. Unfortunately, the building is what... More

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. We were in walking distance from Pier 39, the Aquarium, Ghirardelli Square, Scoma's, the Maritime park, etc, etc, etc. The cable car to Union Square is right behind the hotel. Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was attentive, the room & bed were very comfortable. Only one downside:... More
