Though they are under renovation this is a great place to stay. The location is great and the staff is the best ever! The renovation seems to be done in the rooms but i think they have a lot more to do. the restaurant/Bar is great...great for watching March Madness...Highly recommend!

First of all I am a Hyatt platinum member and have stayed at 3 Hyatt hotels just this month alone. Like everyone before I made the trip to San Francisco I did my research which one is better and never got a definitive answer online so I booked one night at the embarcadero and at the Fishermans wharf. First at... More

We have stayed at numerous Hyatt properties across the country and have always had a great experience. This stay was very disappointing. When we made the reservations we were not informed they were undergoing a remodel. Upon arrival the lobby was not accessible and we had to enter through the back into a very disorganized temporary set up. Then there... More

Other recent reviewers have already echoed my sentiments. However, my review may help provide further confirmation. All of the construction just makes what may otherwise be a nice property the ultimate pain and not worth the effort. The location is great, if you prefer to be in a tourist centered location. Be sure to ask for a room that has... More

Within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Bike rental, Trolley Stop, and a Starbucks just outside the back door. Rooms are what you would expect from a Hyatt. Central to most of the attractions. Lombard Street is a hilly hike away (Typical SF). The ferry building is a pretty long walk, but is a fairly easy walk. If you don't do... More

Stayed for 4 nights pre-cruise 4/8 Feb. Hyatt Pier 66 Ft Lauderdale one of our favourite hotels so we are not generally critical of Hyatt. This Hyatt is just a dormitory. Room OK but looking inwards at other rooms so net curtains drawn all day. The hotel bar has hard plastic seats, no atmosphere and at least 8 large flat... More

Made a reservation in December for a get together with friends at Fisherman's Wharf at the Hyatt. Checked in at 2:30pm to the sounds of a jackhammer that made it difficult to hear the receptionist. Being road weary, thought maybe we had a room away from construction so went to check it out. It was louder in the room. Fortunately... More

Our first imprèssion of this hotel was not very good. First of all, the lobby is under construction....we couldn't even find the front door initially and reception is set up on tables in a meeting room. Once we got to the right place, we found that at 3:30 in the afternoon our room wasn't ready. The good news was that... More

Located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, the Hyatt's location could not have been more perfect. Tons of restaurants and attractions were literally minutes away, eliminating the need for a car. The rooms were quite nice-- not huge, but boasting high ceilings they felt spacious. I thought the bed was fine, but my husband found it too hard for his... More

Hyatt is in a great location close to all of the attractions of Fisherman's Wharf. Hotel was in the middle of a renovation which meant a temporary entrance and a makeshift reception. Service certainly suffered as a result. We had to carry our own bags down stairs and the reception had a very amateur feel to it. Rooms were well... More
