We did not know the area that well. We were please we were in walking distance to the Wharf and many of the nearby restaurants. We were cruising the next day and were 5 minutes away from the pier. The rooms are small but adequate and clean. Seems like an older hotel, but well maintained. Coke machine on our floor... More

I stayed in this hotel with my 11 year old son for a short weekend stay for his first time to SF. The hotel is in a great location and perfect walking distance to many landmarks. Our room, albeit small, was very comfortable and quiet. The people at the front desk were quite helpful, but the concierge knew very little... More

I was in the Bay Area for three nights and picked this Hyatt. Location is great. You can walk to Fisherman's Warf. Everyone working was friendly. The hotel needs some renovation but serves its purpose as a very good hotel. The restaurant/bar has amazing burgers if you do not have time to go out or for a late meal.

I love the Hyatt! I am a loyal Hyatt customer to the exclusion of all other hotels. I have never been less than thrilled with any of my stays until now. The rooms were nothing special and for some reason we were given rooms in the "basement" which seemed damp and sort of dreary with a terrible view . I... More

This hotel was nice! It was in a great location, less than a 5 min walk to peer 39 and trolley turnaround. This city is really a walkable one(if you're in shape!), and this hotel is central to a lot of activities/sights. The room was lovely. Although they put us on the second floor beside a family with a crying... More

I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels and have been very satisfied. I was satisfied with the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf, but have a comment that applies to ALL hotels. Our stay was during the storm that hit California the second week of December 2014. There was a power outage across more than half of San Francisco. We decided to... More

Stayed 4 nights here room only for two of us was over $1100. Although the bed was made and the bin emptied every day. The room was never cleaned, there was a layer of dust over all the surfaces by the time we left, enough to write in. The empty plates etc. left outside room never seemed to be cleared... More

The hotel was very pleasant, clean, modern, and I felt comfortable staying there. It was central to and within walking distance to everything San Francisco had to offer. I did encounter several homeless individuals tucked away along sidewalks and never saw law enforcement remove them from the area to eliminate the pan handling. Other than this the stay was great!

The location of the hotel is perfect. You are about 1 block from the Fisherman's Warf and all the amenities there. You are also easy access to downtown, Nob Hill, Financial District, Union Square and basically the City. If good weather permits, many of these areas are walking distance or a quick cab, or cable car ride away.

It was full of frustrations, we left after one night. We had informed the hotel about checking in at night and even informed them about the flight details, but they somehow screwed it up- when we arrived after a 10 hour flight, they told us that our room was no longer available - although we had already paid - and...
