My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary in the Bay area with the second half of our stay at this hotel. After initially booking my room I saw some recent reviews/complaints about noise due to renovation of the rooms so I checked ahead with the staff who advised that renovations were almost 100% completed and promised we wouldn't be... The good: The location is excellent, and very convenient to Fishermans Wharf. The hotel now offers free WiFi, and has undergone some renovations. The Bad: I booked a King Double in advance of my stay. (Being a rewards member is of no importance.) I called the hotel a few hours in advance of my late check-in to make sure all... More

This Hyatt isn't up to Hyatt standards in my opinion. Construction going on in lobby, escalator didn't work, pool was freezing, bathtub was not nice enough to take a bath in, room was not dusted, not all the USB posts worked, smoothies at breakfast tasted like powder, in-dining menu was very limited, and the chocolate milk made me sick. Location... More

You can't beat the location. The staff is exceptional. Easy check in/check out. Lovely restaurant for food anytime. The rooms are great. Fast elevators too. Nice lobby for sitting to wait for friends. You're blocks from Fisherman's Wharf...and there's a small grocery store nearby (a few blocks) in case you need something for snacking. Highly recommended!

This place epitomizes the term "nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there" Fisherman's Wharf has gotten out of control with it's prices. Four bills for one average size room (with no view) with only one chair besides the bed? And the card on the back of the door said they were limited to six bills per... More

We are only a couple hours from San Francisco so we go to the city pretty often. Usually we do not stay at Fishermans Wharf because Union Square and the Financial District have the nicer Hotels, but we had the smaller Grand kids with us 6 and 9 and wanted to stay at Fishermans wharf so we could pop in... We had a fairly unpleasant stay at this hotel. The reason mainly is that the price didn't match the quality and this is why: 1. The hotel is priced fairly high but the room was small (I know it's San Francisco but even for there it's small) 2. The structure of the hotel was unpleasant (long dark hallways, labyrinth wise... We stayed in this hotel for four nights in June. The location is good for Fisherman's Wharf activities and the cable cars into SF. Our rooms were quiet and kept clean daily, as we would expect given the price. Note that parking in this area of SF is expensive at $38 per night for nearby self park or $50 for... More

My family and I experienced a three day visit to Fisherman's Wharf and the location of this hotel is conveniently close to the beauty of San Franciso. My only complaint is that upon our departure from the hotel a man attacked my son and I with a taser and a knife as we exited the lobby and he shouted racial... More

This hotel is under construction. I am adding a photo of the construction dust in my room every day I have been here. My son has allergies and has been suffering. Will it always be under construction ? No but here are my other issues: 1. When I checked in, and realized my room was on a low floor, they... More
