This is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Hotel is very much in need of a upgrade! When you enter the lobby the first thing that is noticed is the worn carpet. The rooms are very small with only one chair at a desk. Furniture is worn and out dated.

Clean hotel but in a very touristy area of S.F. That may be what you need; if so, this is your place - very close to many tourist attractions, including Pier 39 (Fisherman's Wharf), Ghiradelli, etc. Just a small room but with reliable Hyatt service.

We were only here for 2 days but it was a great place to explore Fisherman's Wharf and downtown. The bar next door, Knuckles is great for snacks and has a nice bar area with plenty of TVs. The business center is small but they have a great program to easily check in for flights and print boarding passes for... More

Great rooms, blocks from Fishermans Wharf, but for $300 a night there is no microwave or fridge in the room! Not a great value, but what is in SF! Also, union protesting outside that they're a non-union shop, but they can't control that. Breakfast buffet is $21 per person, pricey all around!

My first time at hotel near the Wharf. Wasn't sure which to pick after reading the reviews; however, we were very happy with this Hyatt & the location...Parking is $50...but you have to pay for parking wherever you stay in a city...so I was prepared for that.

I was hesitant to stay at a Hyatt again after a terrible experience in another city. This hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and very nice. We were close to a lot of sight seeing areas, and really enjoyed our location. I would stay here again!

Not what we expected: asked and paid for an upgrade to a room that ended up being very noisy. Restaurant service was way below par. Pool was not great. No towel racks in bathroom (weird!) and limited cupboard space. But staff were friendly and great location.

Very clean hotel with the best customer service. Location on the wharf makes it walking distance to all attractions in the wharf. On site laundry makes packing for travel a lot less. Great experience at this hotel.

This is a great hotel choice to have as a base to explore San Francisco. It is in a great location in Fishermans wharf. The lobby is a bit small but the staff are great and there are free mints at the counter. Swimming pool and hot tub were great at the end of the day. The Restaurant attached "Knuckles"is... More

Check in easy, friendly staff, access to elevator to get to the room a problem if you have your hands full with luggage, jacket, stuff because of stairs. Room quiet and clean. Internet overpriced. No refrigerator in room.
