You can't get much closer to Fisherman's Wharf than this. This hotel is in a great location, and it appears to have been recently renovated. The staff was extremely helpful in regards to letting us check in early with a cranky 2 year old who needed a nap, which I will forever be grateful for. Some rooms have great views... More

From the outside of the building, you would think you would be staying at a Super 8 that was built 40 years ago. Upon driving into the tiny valet/drive up area, the cost of DAILY parking is $36.00 plus tax - make that $5.00 for taxes for a total of $41.00 per night for valet parking. They do not have... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us such a thorough review. We are currently working on creative ways to make our Marriott Elite members feel more appreciated as our property is smaller than most and room upgrades are not always available. We offer valet parking as a convenience for our guests. The area in which the hotel is... More

Stayed here for two nights in April 14. Booked a suite which was incredible value for money and the suite was huge and very clean. Only slight downsides was the lack of shelving in the bathroom and some noise from the street on the Monday morning but I think that was street cleaning day. About 5 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf,... More

The halls and carpet are a bit musty and the carpet needs to be replaced. The location is perfect for easy access to lots of tourist stuff. Overall a good experience but not up to par of most courtyards I've stayed at and I average 50-60 nights per year.

Thank you for your observation of the hallway carpet. We are scheduled to have our hallway carpets cleaned soon and will be evaluating the cleanliness to make sure we are up to par with the Marriott Brand. We apologize for not meeting the standard that you have been accustomed when staying at Marriott Hotels. We promise to follow up on... More

Everything I would expect from a courtyard marriott with all the amenities there. However, the downside is that rooms facing the back of the building overlooking a plaza tends to get very noisy at night with drunk people shouting until the early hours of the morning. I'm sure its a problem management couldn't do anything about but it's just going... More

We are very happy we met your expectations and you enjoyed your stay. We sincerely apologize for the noise disturbance outside of the building in the Plaza area. I have shared your feedback with our building Landlord CBRE so they can work with their security officers to patrol the Plaza area more frequently to minimize the type of issue you... More

Hotel is right on Fisherman's Wharf and very close to the shops, restaurants and docks. However besides needing an update, the rooms smell very stale. I found this condition existing in 3 separate rooms, and finally left, with the management transferring my reservation to another nearby Marriott. They were very apologetic, and I have no problem with the staff acknowledgement... More

Thank you for your observations regarding these rooms. Upon investigation we were able to isolate the three rooms you mentioned. We do have a preventative maintence program in place and these rooms have all been scheduled for a serivce. We are sorry that this prevented you from staying with us during your visit to San Francisco. We hope you will... More

We all enjoyed the Courtyard. Yes, the Wharf is a tourist trap, but the hotel is a respite from the activity at Fisherman's Wharf. We were able to get a junior suite for a family of five. We walked right out of the hotel right onto the night tour double decker bus as suggested by Max at the concierge desk.... More

I put my parents here for six nights over April 2014. This is an excellent location. My parents LOVED this location. They are not big walkers and I realized they they walked for miles in ALL directions because they were so close to everything they wanted to see! They loved being there and the hotel staff was friendly and accomodating.... More

We stayed here for one night before boarding our ship to sail to Australia/New Zealand. The staff of this hotel are very helpful and friendly. The room, though small, was adequate and very clean, as was the bath. We walked to our favorite seafood restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf, which is only a couple of blocks away. We thought it was... We are very happy you enjoyed your stay and the staff was helpful and friendly. San Francisco is a very dynamic market from a supply and demand perspective. Occupancies in SF are very strong right now and look to continue to be very strong over the next few years as minimal new supply enters the market. We appreicate your feedback. More

We stayed here for four days during spring break. Great location to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and the trolley stop. We even walked back to the hotel from China Town, this was around a 20 minute walk. Very friendly staff and hotel was very clean. Remember parking fee is $50 per day which is not included in the hotel price!
