Perfect hotel centrally located in SF. The hotel is very clean and modern compared to other hotels in SF. Close to everything and all restaurants. 15 minute ride to Moscone Convention Center for those who are here for a convention. The rooms are modern and very clean. It is very trendy with free internet.

The only thing going for this hotel is the Cable Car line turnaround nearby that takes you straight to the Bay. Horrible breakfast buffet, terrible coffee and smelly rooms. I don't know why so many aircrew stay there... must get a special rate.

The room was great, comfortable and clean, housekeeping staff very attentive. Front desk staff was most helpful and professional. Of the 3 staff at the concierge desk we worked with, two need to go back for a refresher course in people skills 101. One young man was quite helpful. The woman could not have been more rude; the older man... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel from January 10 - January 17, 2015. This hotel was an excellent choice not only for the location but the cleanliness and courtesy of all the staff. Upon check in, I was greeted by Baker at the front desk and was treated with professionalism and courtesy immediately. He took care of... More

I stayed in room 1721 a king bedded, standard room while in San Francisco (SFO) for business. Overall the property was fine, but I couldn't help thinking what $200.00++ a night gets me in most cities... and the answer to that question is a LOT more. PRO's • Clean rooms • 32” flatscreen is commonplace • In room coffee maker... More

I'm usually a luxury hotel kind of guy. I go here for a conference every year and marvel at what a great place this is to stay. The lobby has been remodeled since I've been here a couple years ago and it looks great. The restaurant and bar are really inviting and the food was great. It was pouring rain... More

Price is a principal concern for me as a traveler, so I'll address that first off: I have no idea how much it cost to stay here. I stayed here for a work conference that took place in the conference areas of the hotel and so I paid for neither my room nor the parking. That said, I found both... More

Conveniently situated at the end of the California cable car line with restaurant choices in Polk St and a Walgreens close by. The is a Wholefoods market across the street. The beds were super comfortable for a good nights sleep. Be aware that as mentioned before, Van Ness is a busy street and you will hear traffic early in the... More

This is a very nice hotel with great staff. If you are walker, it is perfect. Walk a mile in any direction and you are in a great area. Stay north of Geary to avoid a seedy area if you go East. Whole Foods couple blocks away.

Step outside and you're in the heart of the city. All you need within an arms reach including public transportation. Clean tidy rooms with spectacular view from 24th floor corner room with a view. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
