Stayed here on business - hotel is well placed for tourists who want to be in the fisherman's wharf area - loads of restaurants in the area and about 100 yards to the wharf. Hotel is pretty unprepossessing from the outside and the lobby is a bit tired. There is no bar in the hotel and the only restaurant is... more

This hotel not only charges $35 + tax a day for parking, but it consists of 2 separate buildings. We were given a room in the "Beach St. Building", which is a half a block from the main lobby. In this second building, there is a small front desk were people barely greet you in the morning with a "hello",... more

We had beautiful view of Fisherman's Wharf and we were in walking distance of a lot of sights. I couldn't quit looking out of the window when we were in the hotel. more

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 2 centre holiday to California. The main purpose of visiting San Francisco was to see all the sights that this city has to offer and this hotel is perfectly located to allow for this. The hotel is a couple of streets back from the Wharf (5-10 mins walk on foot). Our... more

My partner and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf as part of a package deal booked through Virgin Holidays. When we arrived we were told that our room was a block away at a building attached to the Holiday Inn Express. We were pretty disapointed that the brochure had advertised the restaurants, swimming pool, car park and other... more

We stayed here for 4 nights, very central for everything, good sized clean room. Free internet. The only bad point was the time we waited for the lifts, so sometimes we would go down by the stairs. The breakfast at Dennys always looked crowded so we found a little place at 540 Northpoint Street called Sunrise Cafe, very friendly couple... more

We stayed in this hotel in Early October 09, we found the check in staff to be very helpful even though we arrived quite late at night we still got a lovely room. The bed was so comfortable it was great. Room decor could do with a bit of a revamp but so long as it is clean and tidy... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in late September. It was exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Room was clean and good sized. Bed was comfortable. Free wi-fi was excellent. Reading light was adequate. Location is excellent for walking to many of the tourist sites. We rented bikes right across the street and road to,... more

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our USA honeymoon. The hotel was easy to find, with good, safe parking under the hotel for a OK daily rate and great location if Fisherman's Wharf is where you want to be, close to The Cannery, the chocolate factory, the main trolly stop and loads of little bars and restaraunts.... more
