I am an Intouch member and generally like Kimpton properties, but this one is horrible! Super small rooms--many of which overlook walls or Hvac units; no restaurant (can't even get a cup of coffee or a soda); huge, loud in room heating and a/c units; a $10 fee to workout at the local YMCA down the street; none of which... Dear Saintpaul2245, We apologize that we could not accomodate you in a large room type. Because of the hotel's distinctive historical background, we have very cozy rooms. We offer coffee makers and mini bar keys upon request, which allow our guest to enjoy coffee and sodas on demand. We are so sorry that we did not get the opportunity to... More

I had read a lot of the other reviews before picking this hotel and inspite of the warning that the rooms were small, we chose the Harbor Court, requesting a Bay view room. We were not disappointed. It was a perfect little room, but with a giant view. The service at each level was excellent. Our only minor complaint was... More

We had a rather rocky beginning to our 2-night stay. Arriving about 90 min. prior to the standard check-in time, our room wasn’t ready yet, but we were able to take care of the paperwork (inc. surrendering our lodging certificate), leave our car with the valet ($42 per night plus tax) and have them store our luggage while we went... The Harbor Court Hotel is right across the street from the San Francisco Bay, and rooms on the Bay side of the property have amazing views of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, and there is usually some cool Burning Man art also directly across the street along the embarcadero. Before moving back into the city, this was one... More

We stayed at the Habor Court hotel for three nights in February. Great location but the hotel has some strange deficiencies. Our room on the third floor overlooked the airconditioning system and another building instead of San Francisco Bay one street away. The hotel has no restaurant and offers only coffee and tea in the morning - you have to... More

This hotel is absolutely perfect, until I tried to go to sleep. The staff are wonderful, the location is excellent, the rooms are cozy but nicely decorated. But avoid the rooms on the 03 and 05 series! The noise is a rumbling vibration that is really unbearable. I asked to move from an 05 room and was given an 03... More

This hotel is a gem. The location is really great. It is on a relatively quiet block (Steuart St; there is a 2nd entrance on Embarcadero) very close to the Ferry Building and the Financial District. The staff is very helpful, and there are many restaurants on the block. The rooms are incredibly small, but very comfortable. Overall, I highly... More

We arrived very late (after 1 am) flying in from Boston and were cranky and tired. The person at the desk could not have been more accommodating and got us to our room without delay. We crashed, and in the morning opened the blinds to the most incredible view of the water. The room was fine, small but thoughtfully laid... More

the nicest thing that I can say about this hotel is that it is located next to a great restraunt, Perrys. The service at the front desk was so rude to us when we checked in this hotel made me happy that we were only staying one night. I do like though how they have Aveda in the room though.

If you are a road warrior you will love this hotel. It is a complete departure from the ordinary to the luxurious. Perfect location, a wonderful staff, and an incredible Japanese Restaurant downstairs. DO NOT miss the 9pm cookies and milk!! I will definitely be back.
