Let me start by saying all of the staff I interacted with were very helpful and professional. However, my stay was overshadowed by a couple of negative issues. First, housekeeping removed or disposed of some of my toiletries. I travel 6-10 times a year on businesss (plus personal travel) and have never had this happen before. There was little possibility... Spend more than 60 nights in SF. Tried the new Intercont, Ritz, Hyatt Embarc, St. Regis.... The Grand Hyatt is the best. The gym is ecxcellent, food is good and the room are very comfortable. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff, bell guys, housekeeping, valet guys, front desk and most importantly the GP specislist, Ms. Shiroma,... More

Stayed here two nights on business. Efficient at check in and room clean and reasonable size. Free and fast wifi obvious plus. Didn't use too many amenities but gym looked well equipped. Would have liked to use top floor bar but closed apparently now for two years. Didn't appreciate having to wait for table at breakfast but sorted itself out... More

Smart rooms, great bar and restaurant - feels classy! Ideal location just minutes from Union Square. Hyatt quality. I totally recommend this hotel whether it's your first time in San Francisco or you have stayed before.

I love new renovated rooms. Up grade to regency club Suite. Amazing view, spacious, cleanest, I said better than St. Regis. Both Hotels are the best in San Francisco. Regency club offers best champaign, quality snacks. Great ocean view. I really suggest you to pay extra to getting regency club. Concierge, bellman, doorman are working same Hotel for more than... I've been to the Grand Hyatt Hotel during a business trip in San Francisco and stayed there for 6 nights. The Hotel is located right in the center of San Francisco near Union Square, what makes it quite comfortable to use it as a starting point for discovering the city. All important buses and two cable car lines start nearby... More

I stayed here for a large event that was held at Moscone center. The Grand Hyatt is centrally located, comfortable and clean. I ordered a light dinner in my room on the first night and it was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. The Starbucks coffee in the lobby was very handy -- only open in the morning... More

I have stayed in many hotels in the San Francisco area and been really impressed with the customer service at this hotel. EVERYONE in the hotel is nice, friendly, and accommodating. Paul at the front desk was outstanding and everyone else I encountered from the door greeter to food hospitality have been more than helpful. The rooms are nice and... More

When I stayed this hotel before, I loved it. I came back again. This is a nice hotel with Hyatt standard. I enjoyed my stay. This time, it seems there was a big event at the hotel. I had to wait for a line to check in for 15 minutes. Later I saw a line of check in guests goes... More
