Location is great, walking distance to majority of important places. Clean rooms with great view from higher floors ( we were on 24th ). Breakfast was one of the best during this our stay in US. We have tried the dinner once as well and we were satisfied too. Willing personnel. Everywhere clean.

I just arrived 15 minutes ago and was badly welcomed by a bad behavior receptionist. This kind of attitude does not fit at all to this high class fancy hotel. Then, my room should be available by 3pm and the receptionist just said coldly that it was not available and not even an apology. Unbelievable! I hope the manager can... More

The Union Square area is under a lot of construction right now but the hotel itself was a pleasure to stay at. It's convenient to the BART and local city transportation options as well. I'm a Diamond Hyatt member and the club access is great with stunning views and very attentive staff. Really nice stay.

Be wary of staying in rooms close to Union square as the roadworks and adjacent construction occur day and night. The noise was audible from the 18th floor. Nice room and good location. Friendly staff.

Got upgraded to a bay view room with grand club access. The food at the club was great. Rooms are updated, spacious, and clean. Bay view was spectacular. Nothing I can complain about. I have stayed at the Westin St. Francis a few times as well and I would give the Grand Hyatt a slight edge over it.

I have stayed at the Park Hyatt Hotels in other countries and have had wonderful experiences. However, the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco left me unsatisfied. The hotel staff were very professional. However, we had requested assistance in getting dinner reservations from the checkin rep. She stated that she would take care of it and would contact us. We never... More

This hotel is very centrally located and walking distance to many attractions. The staff was polite and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was adequate in size, updated, and clean. Our only two complaints are 1) the low water pressure/rain shower head make showering slightly difficult and 2) housekeeping came in to our room even though we had the privacy... More

Great place to stay in SF, close to Macy's and Union Square, so good if you want to go shopping. Lobby had popcorn and lemonade while we waited to check in and champagne when we checked out. Room was spacious, no noise from neighbours or the street, pressure in the shower was nice and strong and the bed was big... More

The hotel had a GREAT location - close to shopping and restaurants and Union Square. Room was nice with a good view of the water, but the bathroom sliding door did not close all the way, and the shower had no water pressure. Free wifi, didn't eat at any of the restaurants. We did get locked out of our room... More
