After reading many reviews about hotels in San Francisco, and taking into consideration that we wanted to make sure that we stayed in a safe and centric area because we were traveling with our 9 yr old son, we finally decided to stay in the Club Level section of this hotel and boy am I glad we did. This modern... More

Staying at this hotel from 26-28th Feb, and all I can say it was perfect! We got a super affordable price (include breakfast). Arrived in the lunch time and there was someone waiting for us to take our luggages, ugh first class service. We checked in, someone welcomed us so friendly and cheerful, she made my day back then for... More

Really nice hotel in a fantastic location. It's a short walk to market street or a 10 minute tram ride down to the piers. The view from the upper floor rooms is fantastic and it's nice to be away from the street noise. Rooms have pretty standard free wifi that can get frustrating but it's a million times better than... Gets the job done! Attentive, knowledgeable, highly competent staff. I managed a major, complex event work event here in November 2014 -- the Hyatt team made it seamless, (relatively) stress-free, and very very successful. Perfect venue for a business meeting and great, central location for out of town guests. We would definitely go back.

I have stayed in other Grand Hyatt Hotels and have been so very pleased, but not this time. I can only review the room and nothing else within this hotel because as soon as I walked into the room, I started looking for other properties to move to for 2 nights. This room was so ridiculously small and utilitarian looking.... More

You either like Hyatts, or you don't. I like them. The staff is always knowledgeable and attentive, without being intrusive. The concierge emailed me the day before my stay to inquire about any special requests. This particular Hyatt is right off Union Square, so for us, it was about location on this particular trip. The thing I don't like about... More

This hotel has one of the best locations in San Francisco. If you don't mind walking, it gives you a chance to see so much more than just the Fisherman's Wharf tourist traps. Chinatown is right next door, the Ferry Building and Saturday Market not much further, even a walk down Haight is doable on foot. A huge assortment of... More

Although the location is perfect and the hotel is well presented but we were offered rooms facing a 24 hour construction site. There was no prior warning and no explanation and when we asked to change rooms, they said the entire hotel was full... not only that but the staff had a very nonchalant attitude and just said they can't... Please accept our sincere apologies for the construction next door and unable to accommodate your request. We should have communicated the potential construction noise to our guests and be more sympathetic. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention and your experience will be used as an example for us to retrain our staffs. More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt over valentines day. This is our second visit to this hotel. It is very well located and convenient to great restaurants, China Town and other activities at the Union Square area downtown. Public transportation is close and convenient. The hotel facilities are very nice and rooms clean. Concierge services are... More

Nice hotel, well located in the financial district downtown. My room was on the 18th floor and had a pretty cool view of the city (facing Union Square). The room itself was very clean, spacious, new, and overall well appointed (with some nice gadgets and connectivity). Wifi was free and fast, and overall was good. On my particular stay they... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed the central location of our hotel and the view from your room. Please accept our apologies for the unwanted noise from the high wind and the delay at check-in. Your recommendation is much appreciated and we will definitely make any necessary arrangements during high occupancy days. More
