Only valet at this hotel for what I believe is $80/night. Across the street there is a parking lot for $60/night, outrageous. The hotel room, had so much dust, that I ended up with bronchitis. The hotel uses a "menu" for necessities, which you might have forgotten. But be ready to wait about 1 hour to receive it. Ok hotel,... More

20 people in line to check in when we arrived, with two people handling the traffic. Hotel is OK, but with poor room design and VERY loud due to tons of construction outside. We noticed two sets of ear plugs when we got to the room, which should have told us something. Service was lousy, but maybe that is just... More

Exactly what one would expect from GH; perfectly located on Union Square, well equipped with very good rooms excellent views. Club lounge worth upgrading too as excellent with great food and drinks and a superb view of SF harbour. Best thing about this Hyatt ? The staff, from an excellent seemeless check in to brilliant club lounge, superb Concierge services,... More

Very nice hotel. Well located. Though could use elevators directed to specific blocks of floors to cut down on long waits in lobbies. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff; esp. the concierges Elizabeth, Joanna and Elaine. Always helpful, patient and polite. And with excellent up-to-date information about San Fran. Housekeeping was very good too. An area where problems... More

I wouldn't stay here again. It wasn't the worst ever, and honestly most of my complaints have to do with the room design. The service has been fine. The walls are so thin that I actually heard my neighbor peeing. Like, not just the toilet flushing, but the actual urine going into the toilet. Gross. Also, the bathroom was really... More

Grand Hyatt's have that name for a reason. Besides having a great location, every staff member is courteous and friendly and couldn't be any more helpful except for one of the concierge staff. We had a great room with a view of the GG Bridge.

I often come and stay at Grand Hyatt in San Francisco for my business trips cause Its one of my fav place in town. The staff is super professional and kind, rooms are large, clean and the position is strategic. The breakfast is amazing with fresh fruits, pastries and the food in general is really really good. View of Union Square and street level current construction. Ear plugs added as toiletries are needed as single pane windows don't muffle noise regardless of floor level. Convenient to Macy's, Victoria Secret, Johnston Murphy, tiffanys, and more. Rooms have been updated but corners cut.

This is a great location for wandering around San Francisco. If you've stayed in Grand Hyatt's before you know what you're going to get…a comfortable room, a seemingly safe environment, concierge, etc. There seems to be lots of parking to go around and we were happy to find a garage kitty corner from the hotel that offered special spaces for... My husband and I stayed here during my husband's business trip on July 28, 2015. While the hotel accommodated an early check in, the quality and cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The desk was dirty and the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned (hair on floor and pink mold on tiles around bathtub). Although this was... More
