I loved the dinning experience in Grand Hyatt, the service is what I particularly valued. The staff and manager in the restaurant provided personal service and answered every question. Plus, the location of the hotel is so close to the center area of the city!

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt SF for 6 nights last months and had a great stay. The check-in was very quick, friendly and professional. Got a corner room on one of the lower floors, but it was really nice and clean. The location of this hotel is fantastic, only a few steps from Union Square. The service was overall very... More

This is my second time staying at the Grand Hyatt, San San Francisco. Rooms with king size beds is slightly smaller and the bathroom is slightly older compare to double bed rooms. Cons: - Great location - Grand lobby - Friendly staff Pros: - Some rooms needs to be updated - Lobby is nicer than rooms - Rooms with king... More

Great stay in SF in perfect location at Union square. Web check in was a breeze and the kiosk check in at arrival was smooth. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful from the valet to the restaurant staff. We had a great view of union square in our room 1719. The hotel was the most reasonably priced hotel... More

I stayed here with my wife for a few days and it was great. Rooms were a bit smaller than some hotels but not much to complain since it was in the middle of San Francisco. I would recommend this place for anyone that needs to visit SF.

Checked into the hotel very easy. The staff are really friendly. We had an amazing view from the 20 floor and there's still another 15-16 above. The hotel is central to everything, there's plenty of shops and not far from the cable cars to take you to fishermans wharf. Will stay again

Situated in city centre near Union Square Rooms clean and comfortable but nothing special. Floor to ceiling windows provide nice views on higher floors. Disappointing that the Grandviews top floor bar is now closed, so residents can't access, used to be one advantage of staying at this hotel. Had fantastic views across the city and bay.

So the location is excellent, the rooms nice and functional, it overlooks Union Square, is a short walk (albeit through construction) to get to the main shopping areas and Macys is on the far side of Union Square from it. However the service just doesn't match. It was slow...so so slow. They also neglected to advise or mention the 24... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry about the unwanted noise coming from the construction nearby. Our service always received very positive review and it is disappointed that we fell short during your stay. Your comment will be shared with my leadership committee to review and address your concerns. More

Friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms, good location. Beware if you are a light sleeper like I am (there's a reason the rooms have ear plugs in them) as even on the 21st floor, I can hear the construction coming to life at 4 am. Certainly not the hotel's fault (my room does face Union Square and I couldn't move as... More

The staff here is uniformly among the best I've had the pleasure to meet. You expect great location and views in hotels of this caliber; it's the staff that sets the Grand apart from many of its competitors. One of the delightful surprises of the trip was looking out our window to find that we overlooked the alley in which... More
