A little gem in downtown SF. Rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped. Fridge, coffee maker etc. the only draw back is that for a couple storage space is limited. The BART station is just round the corner so it is very convenient.

I have to commend the Galleria as a great hotel to stay, located near all the best shopping in the middle of the city. It is also close to China Town and the Cable Car run. Additionally there are some fantastic cafes and restaurants within a block or two. I hope to return to San Fran as soon as I... More

Very central in the financial district. Beds very comfortable. We had a standard room which backed into a small courtyard. This does make the room dark but apart from that it was good. Very nice toiletries. Lovely staff.

From the moment we walked through the doors to the sad moment that we had to leave 5 days later, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Galleria Park hotel. Every person on staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We loved our room which was made up perfectly each day and VERY clean. It was a great location to get... More

We stayed in this boutique hotel in July 2014. Centrally located for buses etc, loads of good places to eat close by (as hotel does not do food). Would recommend. Personal drawback was beds are quite soft, and give you a hug all night - making it very warm.

Close to everything with a friendly and helpful staff! Updated and clean room and bathroom - nice towels. Lovely rooftop area for morning coffee/exercise or perhaps a glass of wine. We selected this hotel based on numerous positive reviews - and they were right. Would definitely return and hope to do so! We even enjoyed the town car service which... More

While the rooms may be a little outdated, the galleria delights. The staff were soooo friendly and accommodating. There is free wine each night, a brilliant coffee shop right next door and a great location right near great shops and the cable car to take you to the waterfront. Loved it!

I used TripAdvisor to help me as a first time visitor to SF, and the good reviews of the Galleria Park were spot-on. I love boutique hotels-the staffs usually try harder. This was certainly true of the Galleria Park. From directions to dining recommendations, everyone was caring, friendly, and always had a smile on their face! As previously noted, the... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was perfect. Everything had been nicely updated. The staff was extremely helpful. They recommended restaurants, helped with public transport and always greeted us with a smile. There was a wine reception in the lobby each night and coffee and tea in the morning (and in the room as well). The hotel was... More

This hotel has a very classy, old-style vibe. The staff, from valets to the front desk, were very friendly and professional. The bathroom in the room was on the small side, but this is what you would expect from a boutique hotel. The room itself was very clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. Wine hour and free... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco, Galleria Park gives you easy access to everything the Bay Area has to offer to its visitors. The hotel is located with easy access to the Bay Area's central transit systems of BART, MUNI and the fabled cable cars. Within blocks are Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, Moscone Convention Center, and several world-class museums. The hotel is just steps away from world-class shopping destinations in Union Square--an area that is definitely a tribute to the power of shopping. Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, Gump's and a very substantial Macy's are right on the Union Square. The venerable Bullock and Jones and Tiffany and Co. are within walking distance, as is the nine-story Westfield San Francisco Shopping Centre with its three-level Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. It is also a center for exclusive couture and high fashion, with boutiques dedicated to Betsey Johnson, Kate Spade, Herve Leger, Karen Miller, and Michael Kors. Post Street, which is a block away from Galleria Park is where the high-end stores are located including Ralph Lauren, Ferragamo, Juicy Couture, Tory Burch, Ferrari and Porsche clothing stores. ... more   less
