On a recent trip to California we arranged to stay at this hotel sight unseen. The price was affordable...but that is the only good thing...that and the location. The room is small and the hotel is very old. The beds were horrible. I was unable to sleep for long as I was always tossing and turning. The boxsprings were so... More

Well I didn't see any bed bugs in my room,as some people experienced. However, there was definitely a room about 7 doors down that sorta looked condemned and scary.. Mattresses up,furniture turned over (yes I peeked in the window as I walked by ) My room, other than being very old and dirty, had no bugs. Thankfully I brought disinfectant spray... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Presidio Inn on a resent trip to San Francisco. After reading the horrible reviews I called the night before to confirm our reservation and ask if we could park at 9 am when we arrived. The gentleman who answered ( I assume to be the owner. He was a man in his 70's... More

At arrival to the 'hotel' the manager was extremely rude!! We entered our room to the worst smell ever which had been tried to cover up by a much worse smell of some cleaning product! The carpet was very dirty and taped together with some awful black tape. The curtains (filthy) were hanging off. As we got into bed there... More

My girlfriend and i stayed for two nights in presidio inn. We found some bugs without be awared of what they were. After both of us had a hundert bites we knew better. They were allover. We reclaimed but the very unfriendly owner did not even apologize. It seem to us that he was aware of it. Service in total... More

We stayed here for 1 night and it was the worst night ever. It put me off San Francisco. The hotel manager (if you can call him that) was very rude and unhelpful. He stopped us asking questions in reception by putting his hand up! As if to say don't disturb me whilst I am doing something. He gladly took... More

I visited San Francisco for first time, and we decided to be in a good location and not to pay a lot. but if I knew the conditions of this Hotel, I would never book there. All the comments that you read here are true. We found Bed Bugs in the room!!!, in the bed, in the walls, in the... More

No air conditioning, bed s are too hard. No screens on the window so can't see sleep with window open. Dive hotel... don't waste your money!!! Decent location, about 2 miles from the dwarf and pier 39.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
