Even though this wasn't the best place, it was clean. The things that we had issues with were that the shower door didn't close all the way and the toilet made a funny noise every time we flushed it. Despite those things, it was clean and their were no bugs, so that's always a plus. I'm not one of those... More

The hotel is way over priced in an expensive city. My wife and I were in town for a little pre-cruise exploration. The prices have really gone up since I was in the city last, so finding affordable accommodations was difficult. My wife found the Presidio Inn online for $200 a night which was while still expensive, not as bad... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen! It is dirty, smelly, and not cared for at all. The furniture is broken, missing drawers, dirty, stained, and mismatched. The lights did not work as the bulbs were all blown. The door was broken and could have been entered without a key easily. The tub/shower was dirty and stained. The... More

It was my family's first time in San Francisco so I wanted to make it memorable by staying at this hotel because it is reasonably priced and it's right on the world's famous Lombard st; that alone would be plenty reason for liking this hotel. Another plus was the young man at the front desk, he was very courteous and... More

I was travelling the west coast of America and was looking for a 3 night stay in San Francisco. Initially upon reading reviews, amenities and the location this hotel seemed reasonable. However, further research for places to stay in San Francisco we found what seemed a better hotel. Therefore I cancelled the booking with Presidio Inn and Suites and received... More

Do not stay here!!!! No screens on windows, no air conditioning. Owners are only interested in $$$$ Had to sleep with windows open do to heat and someone could just climb into our room through the open window. Not in a good area either. Breakfast was a joke. Started at 8am...coffee and danish and a few pieces of fruit!!!!!

Noisy smelly no air poor service, breakfast in the driveway, BEDBUGS. In 49 nights in the USA this was far and away our worst. We cut short and left San Francisco we were so over it. The place should be condemned.

All my wedding guests decided to sleep there. There rooms looked very old, it was very hot and noisy. Very difficult to find a parking space at night. No breakfast. Save your money and stay away, the room have no ventilation or cooling, the place drastically requires new carpets, a decent clean and helpful staff... The stay was awful. Breakfast was covered in flies... Just pay a bit more and go somewhere better, anything would be better

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
