It is located at the Northwest corner of Geary Street and Larkin Street, but you must approach the entrance from Larkin (a one-way street). Parking is under the hotel, but there are limited parking spaces. When you check in, then is a sign advising you so! I left my car there and used the bus service during my stay. Check-in... More

I booked this motel for three reasons. 1: It has ensuite bathrooms. What the hell San Francisco, every hotel/motel regardless of price should have ensuite! 2: Price. It was one of the better value hotels in the city. 3: Location. There were cheaper hotels, but they were further out of the city centre. Motel 6 is basic, but my room... More

With all hotels out of our budget we settled on this one mainly due to the price. It's more than you should pay for what you are getting but it seems to be driven by the prices in the city. It's out of the way from everything, 10-15 blocks from BART and Union square and 25-30 blocks up and down... More

This hotel is the most economical we could find in downtown San Francisco compared to all other lodging choices. The Ritz, it is not, but offers clean accommodations, air conditioning, free WIFI, free morning coffee, free underground parking and close to all means of public transportation. The elevators are accessed with your room key card and security cameras are located... More

Room was clean and spacious. Air and heat worked. Location is close to everything we wanted to do but the area felt unsafe after dark. Staff was friendly and left us check in early since there was availability. For the price I'd stay here again.

Is This Motel 6 the height of comfort and glamour? Of course not. But, it’s a place to stay in downtown San Francisco for less than $150 per night. I thought the people at the front desk were friendly and the room was clean enough. They are hooked up with a service to have food delivered, so it’s almost like... More

It's the cheapest hotel you will find in downtown in San Francisco, the rooms are cleans, also the bathroom. Free wifi, free parking lot and trust me in a city where you pay 8 dollars per hour. It's great we arrive at 1 pm and we park our car and move by public transportation. It's easier and cheaper. We walk... More

Don't be put off by the seedy neighbourhood: yes there are a lot of homeless people and drunks on the street, but they didn't bother us. The hotel was very clean, the beds ok, a very good shower and we could park our car in the private garage which was a godsend. Location was ideal: we did all our exploring... More

This hotel provided the cheapest room (at the time, don't quote me) in the city with a private bathroom. As I was tired of sharing dorms, I welcomed the alternative.. All I need while travelling is a clean, secure room and bathroom and I was not disappointed. I walked to and from Union square daily with little problems, however I... More

Basic hotel but clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple of nights, we didn't spend much time in our room. Close to Union Square and several bars, eateries. Was noisy at night but hey, its downtown, what do you expect! Would stay again.
