The room itself was very clean, but had some issues with light bleeding in at night. It was also quite cozy, about the same size as my bedroom at home. The rooms circle a central parking lot, but It was surprisingly quiet. I did not use the microwave, coffee maker or TV. The breakfast is, indeed, a small case of... More

It was a very cute and quiet little place! The man at the front desk was very friendly and kind. The wifi was free but wasnt very fast. The area around the hotel has a lot of good places to eat and see. We enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.

They do not answer their phones, no one is at the front desk, electrical is a lamp in the bathroom, outlets don't work. breakfast times are on predictable. Called to get a handicap, they said they can give me one on the bottom floor. Made it clear I had broke both my feet. Got to the hotel. they only had... More

Greeted with a smile by the front desk. I appreciate that he took care of all my requests (like what floor I wanted to be on, etc.) Bathroom looked remodeled and new. TV had HBO (yay!). Heater works fine. King bed is HUGE! Parking lot has nice big spaces. Clean building and convenient location. There are so many restaurants in... More

Even of DaysInn is the big umbrella company, this motel is a small family business with about 20 rooms and should be rated like this. Our room (118) was well renovated with harmonic colors, all electric equipment was working, the bathroom was clean and has a nice roof window. Room service comes reliable and the guy at the desk is... More

The hotel is conveniently situated and it's location is great because you're close to just about everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. The room was clean and the amenities were excellent! Overall, the Days Inn on Lombard Street is a great value for the price. Fernando. 2/14/15

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
