We arrived early and were able to check in right away. Location is great close to wharf and gg bridge. Nice area to go out at night. Price was right for our trip. Easy to grab a bus to head down to market street. Great place to stay on a budget.

We think that this hotel would be much better if the service was better. From the other reviews we knew that the continental breakfast would be meager so we were prepared but was very disappointed in the managers lack of service and even rudeness. My husband went to the office to report a problem but the manager called out that... More

We got in 5 hours early, and they waived fees and let us into our room early. We were quite grateful. We did get downgraded to a double instead of a queen but we really didn't care too much. The place is small and exactly what we expected.

I have stayed at this property twice and I would stay again. The location is safe and fairly central. Just a bus ride away from the Wharf. Definitely the cheapest hotel you will find, do yourself a favor and book through either Hotwire or Priceline and save a few extra dollars. Nothing special about this property, it is very dated,... I stayed at the Days Inn on Lombard St. just last week. I thought I was safe with a Days Inn because I had liked the ones I had stayed at in Canada. I was disappointed. Yes the sheets were clean, yes I got fresh towels every day. However if you choose to stay at this hotel in room 110... More

We stayed here in June, 2014, for a memory trip in SF, as we were both born and raised in SFbut live north of there these days. It's just a small motel but is clean and close to the Presidio, the Marina, the Crookedest Street in SF, and not too far from Fisherman's Wharf, Van Ness Ave.,Cow Hollow and also... More

My fiance and I stayed here during a week-long trip. Although San Francisco is not a large city, there are many different neighborhoods and hotels, and choosing one was overwhelming, especially trying to stay on a budget. We finally settled on the Days Inn on Lombard Street, and other than the fact we paid for a queen and was given... More

Automatic light switches flashed green all night, had to cover them up to fall asleep. Bathroom fan was on automatic switch and started and stopped all night, very annoying. Bedding smelled of heavy bleach, caused us to itch.

The place needs some renovation. Especially the dirty floor mats and wall paints. The 'breakfast' is a joke unless your definition of it is a banana, muffin and coffee. BTW, the coffee machine was dirty as usual

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
