Don't waste your time and money looking for hotels in San Francisco…this place has it all! It is very conveniently located just 3 blocks from the Fisherman's Wharf and near Golden Gate Bridge. Has great breakfasts and clean, comfortable rooms and beds! For a little extra you can book a room with an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge.... More

Great staff they made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The view from the 11th floor is just amazing to un wind with a glass of wine watching the ships roll in and out under the Golden Gate Bridge.

From the 7th floor we had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The housekeeper was extremely nice and caring. Breakfast was typical of hotel food and they could have used another toaster so people didn't have to wait to toast their bread.

First of all let me say that this location is good. Close to the City Tour bus stop (which I highly recommend). Other than that I would have to say that we were disappointed. The room was very clean, so that is important. It was small. We had requested a top floor because of the view. We did not get... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during April on a fly drive tour of California. Room was nice and bed comfortable also staff friendly. Breakfast was also nice good selection. Would definatly go here again. Went with family members and they had a room with a wonderful view right across the Golden Gate Bridge.

We stayed at this hotel 1 night on a trip in April. The staff was very friendly and very helpful on any questions we had. The location was great. We visited Fishermans wharf. The rooms were very clean. Very good breakfast.

The room was nice, better than I expected for a comfort inn. Everything was pretty up to date. Lots of stuff within walking distance. Would probably stay there again just because it was on the cheap side for that area. Breakfast was pretty poor, but didn't expect much because it was free.

We stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon last week. When we asked if we could get any of the upgrades our travel agent asked for we were told no because the hotel is too busy. Fair enough I understand hotels get busy but there wasn't even a note or anything to congratulate us. I thought if they couldn't... More

We stayed here in our final days in America. Defiantly get the bay side view as we didn't and got to look at a building the whole stay. The wharf isn't far from the hotel which was great to walk along at night. Lots of funky bars and restaurants close by for breakfast or drinks at night. Hotel was clean... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
