From the moment of entering this awesome boutique hotel, we felt welcomed and like rockstars ourselves! Dennis was very helpful, and we can't thank him enough for setting off our vacation with good vibes! Hotel Bijou is a jewel in the heart of it all!

Adorable Hotel!!! Nanette & JR made the stay phenomenal, they were extremely friendly and bubbly!!! Offered us a glass of wine upon arrival and informed me that our room had been hand picked for us because I had called the day before to let the hotel know we were traveling with our doggy on our honeymoon. The staff was excellent... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks, great location, close to everything, beds very comfortable, and super friendly staff. I haven't rated it higher because the hotel has no A/C, thankfully July in SFO only gets up in the 60's, but there were a few nights we needed a fan, it would be ok to sleep with windows open, except the many... Thank You Luciana for writing a review. It was a pleasure to have you here. We are sorry about the no a/c but as mentioned seldom needed in San Francisco. Hotel Bijou does have a great location very accessible to cable car turn around, Powell Bart Station, San Francisco Shopping Centre, and walkable to cable car turnaround. We look forward... More

A most friendly and accommodating staff is what carries this hotel. Nanette at the front desk is spectacular, and others were equally kind and helpful. The lobby is small but interestingly nice. The rooms are very small but clean. We were in an "upgrade" room but it was tiny. Our bed was fine. The TV package is good so we... More

Stayed at Hotel Bijou for 3 nights. Terrific location and close to major shopping stores, Union Square, restaurants and public transportation. Stayed in "Harold & Maude" Room 611. We requested a nice quiet room on the top floor away from street. Clean and comfortable room with window in bathroom in addition to the one in the room — good ventilation.... More

The hotel is a small boutique hotel 3 minutes from Union Square. The rooms are individually named after films that have been shot in San Francisco. My room was very clean and comfortable.
