Spent the weekend here. The Inn was ok. The room was just a room. Nothing fancy. Clean !!! Morning breakfast box, was just juice, apple, yogurt and a croissant. Front desk, Awesome help. Joseph was a wealth of Information. Anything he didn't have available, he googled it. Rough area, but we felt safe. Close to buses and streetcars to Ferry... More

I traveled to San Francisco for the Oracle Open World conference and I stayed here with my colleague. The lobby was actually smaller than my actual room. The room itself was nice and clean but the rest was terrible. The breakfast was the same everyday; croissant, yogurt, banana and oj with either cherrios or raisin bran. I tried to have... More

The staff is very friendly & helpful, the room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Box breakfast every morning & it was really decent! At least they have parking available if you rent a car. Easy walk to Market Street & cable car to Pier 39 & Fisherman's Wharf. Only downfall is the location.

Yes, the neighborhood is a little rougher than most hotel zones in SF, but it's not dangerous by any stretch. The service is friendly and attentive, the rooms are on the larger side and clean, and the price is fair. There's a small fitness room available across the street at their sister hotel.

If only this hotel was better located then I wouldn't have hesitated to give it 5/5. The area it is in is rather sketchy and none of us felt especially comfortable walking around at night. The hotel itself also doesn't look like much from the outside. Accordingly this meant that we spent more time at the hotel and its sister... More

The areas a little edgy but that's part of the attraction. It's not unsafe and very close to Market Street, shops etc. Rooms have great character and are stylish and clean with big comfy beds. Staff were great. Boxed brekkie pick up from reception was a great start each day. No pool but can use pool at hotel across the... More

Enjoyed our stay. Staff members are very friendly, professional and helpful. They allowed us to drop off our luggage even though we arrived before check-in time. They called us when our room was ready. Loved the decor of the rooms. Property is sparkling clean. Major bus lines are only a few blocks away.

My overall impression of this hotel and my time spent there is very good. It was clean, everything in the room worked, and the staff was always very friendly and very helpful. Our room was facing 7th St. so it was noisy at all times during the day but quieted down nicely at night so we weren't disturbed while we... More

We are a family of 5 and stayed at the Carriage Inn on the 14th - 18th August. We had two rooms next door to each other both of which were very large and nicely decorated. They were both spotless and had tea and coffee making facilities. All the staff we encountered during our stay were polite and friendly, and... More

Negatives: area is dodgy, we felt unsafe at night. Very little information provided in the room e.g. Breakfast times, laundry service, check out times. Breakfast was a simple box including a piece of fruit, croissant, yoghurt and juice box that we had to fetch from reception, bean or cornflakes were absorbed in small tubs too. Gym is in the hotel...
