My mother, my sister and myself stayed at the Hotel Beresford the first week of May, 2015. The hotel was as represented. It was nothing fancy, but was clean, felt safe and was in a great location. We did not have a car so I can't comment on the parking situation. We had no problem walking or taking the metro... More

The hotel is very closed to union square and has very good links to the public transport, but the price is very high for the service! The room are very small! We are in 4 people and with the luggages we had some problems to open the doors! The shower doesn't work very well. Our room has bad smell!!! The... More

We stayed here for three nights and the position of the hotel is in excellent proximity to shopping and bars. Although the hotel and room was clean there is a very musty smell about the place. The hotel bar is styled on an old English tavern which you don't find many of even in England these days and this is... More

This has a pass mark in a very expensive city. The hotel has old school charm. Yes it is outdated but has charm. Service was a positive helpful happy staff. Rooms are ok size furnishings are outdated. No AC but did not need as weather was good but if hot you may have a rough stay. Location and white horse... More

This hotel is clean and comfortable with small bedrooms and good continental breakfast. It's very close the Union Square, trolley stops and China Town and so suited us fine. We would however have preferred a better view than the one we had. A brick wall.

Room tilted towards the hall. So much that the sliding door to the bathroom couldn't stay open. No in room coffee, tea kettle or mini fridge provided. Everything very basic. Except for the bed cover that seemed dirty ( some food stain or something) the rest of the room and bathroom was very clean. if you call lemon poppyseed muffins... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in a doubleroom on the top floor on the backside of the hotel. There was no wonderful view, but it was quiet eventhough it is in the middle of "everything"! Clean and comfortable - and with a minibar. This is a good standard hotel with nothing fancy - but I would choose it again!... More

We stayed 4 nights at Beresford and here is what I got for my money. 1. A small approx. 300 sq ft room with a shower. 2. No a/c and it was hot. We opened the window and it helped. 3. A marginal breakfast, 4. The staff was very helpful and friendly. 5. Despite the fact that the hotel was... More
