Stayed here for one night prior to flying home.We booked a junior suite which although having a lot of space had very little else going for it.Unless you are staying more than one night the kitchenette is not much use, there isn't even a kettle. The bathrom was large with two sinks and plenty of towels but everything looks so tired and... As reported, the hotel is a good deal in a great location. It is also tired and dated and well, average. A few things in the room didn't work, like the roll up blinds, and the first room I was offered was right next to the elevator and had a distinctive cleaning chemical odor that was unpleasant. They gave me... More

Located a few blocks away from the main hub Union square, this hotel is pretty sweet on your pocket too. Rooms are large with an attached kitchen which was a pleasant surprise . Overall treatment of the staff was a little bit of a disappointment. I would say overlook it and go for it

When we pulled up to this hotel we were a little concerned about the contingent of homeless people standing nearby. The lobby welcomed us to Happy Hour cheese, wine and snacks while the valet parked our car and the desk checked us in. Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. The lobby was clean and pleasantly furnished. The elevator was very... More

Very kínd staff. We got an upgrade to a Jr Suite because our room was very noisy.. In the Post and Jones corner. Couldn't sleep at all. The location is great, walking distance to Union Square where you can find great shopping.. Wi Fi in the room was terrible, impossible to conect.

Our room on the 8th floor in the Beresford Arms was spacious and quiet, which is a boon in this part of town. The wallpaper might be peeling in the bathroom, but the comfort of having enough space around one, as well as the little kitchenette made us look past that. The bed was really a tad too soft for... This hotel is only a little more dear than the other inexpensive hotels on Post. But the rooms are WAY bigger. The facilities are nicer (the bathrooms in particular have nice showers). And there was free wine and crackers. Very nice staff.

Overall we liked the hotel. We had a Jnr Suite, so there was a small kitchen, with a microwave, and a large bathroom. There was a free Continental Breakfast in the morning and cheese, crackers & wine in the afternoon. For Aussies, Continental Breakfast means pastries and some fruit. There was a spa bath and a bidet, but we didn't... More

Although this is classed as a 3 star hotel, it offers features worthy of a 4 star hotel if you book a junior suite or queen suite. These queen sized twin bedded rooms also have lots of storage space, a sofa and desk, And also a kitchenette with hob, microwave and fridge freezer, cutlery and pots and pans.. No kettle... More
