Very kínd staff. We got an upgrade to a Jr Suite because our room was very noisy.. In the Post and Jones corner. Couldn't sleep at all. The location is great, walking distance to Union Square where you can find great shopping.. Wi Fi in the room was terrible, impossible to conect.

Our room on the 8th floor in the Beresford Arms was spacious and quiet, which is a boon in this part of town. The wallpaper might be peeling in the bathroom, but the comfort of having enough space around one, as well as the little kitchenette made us look past that. The bed was really a tad too soft for... This hotel is only a little more dear than the other inexpensive hotels on Post. But the rooms are WAY bigger. The facilities are nicer (the bathrooms in particular have nice showers). And there was free wine and crackers. Very nice staff.

Overall we liked the hotel. We had a Jnr Suite, so there was a small kitchen, with a microwave, and a large bathroom. There was a free Continental Breakfast in the morning and cheese, crackers & wine in the afternoon. For Aussies, Continental Breakfast means pastries and some fruit. There was a spa bath and a bidet, but we didn't... More

Although this is classed as a 3 star hotel, it offers features worthy of a 4 star hotel if you book a junior suite or queen suite. These queen sized twin bedded rooms also have lots of storage space, a sofa and desk, And also a kitchenette with hob, microwave and fridge freezer, cutlery and pots and pans.. No kettle... More

We are locals from Silicon Valley but occasionaly stay overnite in the City. Our usual place was full, so we are happy to have discovered this. Location is good, and though technically it's the Tenderloin, it seems quite safe. Walk up the hill , not down. :) Our large room had a kitchen, sitting area, and large bathroom. The hotel... More

Lovely hotel, full of charm. Room was huge with two double beds and a kitchenette. Very clean and well kept. Loved the wine and cheese tasting every afternoon at 5pm. There was a little bit of street noise but the hotel couldn't help that. Would recommend to family and friends.

We had the BEST time at the Beresford Arms. It is truly a San Francisco treasure! Not only is everything clean and authentic, but the afternoon wine and cheese are complementary. It was fun to sit in the "front room" with other guests, visit and hear about their day. The morning coffee and breakfast was equally as inviting and a... More

The Beresford Arms is a charming hotel with an excellent location on the edge of Tenderloin district and just a few blocks from Union Square. Stepping into the hotel lobby feels like you've been transported back in time and into a fancy ballroom. We booked a junior suite for 4 people but were upgraded to a queen suite. It turns... More
