We stayed there for 11 nights. I would rate this hotel "very good," but for several unpleasant things that happened. The room was quite comfortable, the beds high and firm (the way my wife and I like them), the concierge quite helpful, the pool very pleasant, and the in-room food, from breakfast to pizza, surprisingly good. But: 1. I have... More

A great location - efficient staff - a rainy night and we were going to Feinsteins, which is in the hotel, which made it a beautiful and convenient evening. Believe wi-fi should be included in price - paid $60 extra per night for wi-fi, breakfast & higher floor - not a bad deal, but not great.

Clean, adequate, but nothing special for the money. Stayed here as part of a conference that was held at Hotel Nikko. It was extremely convenient. Aside from that I was annoyed that there was no free wi-fi at all in the hotel--not even in the lobby. Use of the pool or exercise room also required additional fees. When rooms are... More

This hotel was good. I thought it was too expensive but then again it is San Francisco. I liked better the Hotel I stayed previously on market street (see prior reviews); where I felt that the room was nicer (don't get me wrong the rooms in this hotel are fine). On the other hand I felt that this hotel was... More

THis hotel was very clean, staff helpful & close to Union Square. They dry cleaned my clothes on the same day. Rooms are very large and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms large and very clean.

After pouring over Union Square reviews we decided on the Nikko due to good reviews. It was a nice hotel, but overall we were not impressed for the money. Nice room, but very small and dated. The furniture looks old and there were some chinks out of the bathroom door. The bedding was nice and stylish, but the place overall... More

Stayed at the Nikko for one night and enjoyed the hotel. The service was great (they provided an early check-in, all staff was very attentive) and the location is perfect if you want to be near the Financial District and/or Union Square. Nevertheless, I could not give it a five star rating as for the money the rooms were ok... More

Hotel is nice and clean, staff are friendly, and location is great; near the union square and a short walk from the mall and the cable-car stop. We first booked the room including breakfast (which was not cheap). Howevr, after the first meal, I cancelled the breakfast as it was truely not worth it... it is much much better to... More

Friendly service, modern decor, and well sized rooms. The location was right near Union Square, offering a wealth of shopping and dining options nearby. Complimentary glass of wine upon check-in as well. The hotel lounge was also enjoyable with good service.

Hotel is very modern, minimalist, beautifully designed, and very welcoming. It has extensive marble and glass all-over, rooms are renovated, though not large enough. Our room was comfortable, although a little small, hotel service excellent, great location, friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms, excellent beds. Very recommended!!!
