Location perfect. Service excellent. Deluxe room clean and spacious with well furnished bathroom. Buffet breakfast with wide choice of well prepared food; served in a pleasant dining room. Staff very helpful, especially reception, concierge desk, dining room supervisor & waiters.

So much choice in San Fran and yet the Nikko is a great choice. Easy walkable location, clean rooms, good gym, nice staff. A winner each time! When I stayed there was a charge for the internet. The internet is a right nowadays, so hotels should stop charging for it!

Other say the rooms are small and that might be true but we found it very comfortable. Nice updated bathroom and a VERY comfortable bed. Room had a nice flat screen with many channels and the one time we used room service it was prompt. Had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good. Front desk service was good... More

The Nikko is exceptional value. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is modern and spotless. The location, two blocks from Union Square is great. We had a room on the 24th floor and the views were spectacular. We would go back to the Nikko and have recommended it to our friends.

I stay in several hotels a month. Most are awful. I visit San Francisco every month. Am very familiar with The City. I stayed here once in 2010. and returned. Long overdue. I requested a nicer room, on a higher floor, with a view. In advance, they offer "web-check-in" , and received my requests. Very nice room, slightly angled entry... More

Just love this hotel. Join the loyalty scheme, and select thus property as your favourite and you get really looked after. Great rooms, huge gym, best sushi in SF, and bartenders who mix you drinks not on the menu. Thus is not a typical American chain. It is quiet, polite, unassuming and, well, "easy" Japanese.

My wife and I came here just after the New Year to visit family and friends. When we checked in, we were offered an upgrade room for an additional $40 per night--which gave us free breakfast at Anzu Restaurant (strongly recommended) plus access to the spa (with a good sauna and steambath). Very friendly service and right in the heart... More

We returned again at the Nikko. Nice room, service impeccable. Personnell is so friendly !! The hotel is not so big and causy. The Jspanese/American breakfast buffet is a great start for the day. Absolutely advisable.
