this is a great hotel. The rooms are average in size but plenty comfortable. If you have the option, choose the highest room possible. This hotel is in the heart of SF which is a benefit when getting around, but a negative when trying to sleep in. I was on the 7th floor and during the workday the city noise... More

I am currently staying here attending a conference at the Moscone Center. Company booked my accomdations. I typically stay at SPG, Marriott, or Hyatt properties as I have status and points with each of those chains. The Hotel Nikko is the last property in the U.S. with the Nikko branding, all the other properties have changed management. It is a... More

Hotel Nikko delivers on their promise- comfort, quiet, convenient with a five star staff. Hotel Nikko set the bar for other hotels to follow. The room was very comfortable and spacious . For being located in the heart of downtown (most everything is within walking distance) the rooms are very quiet. As my room was on a middle floor I... More

Nico Hotel is a nice, clean well located hotel. We do recommend it only 3 downsides... 1.-We were checked in at the garage entrance because we didn't know there was another check in at the lobby, the person was very nice and helpful but I feel he should have given us the option to go to the beautiful lobby and... I was recently married here and stayed a few nights at the hotel. I must say this hotel, rooms and meeting spaces plus location is nothing short of amazing. The hotel is in the heart of union square and depending on room you get, there are beautiful views of San Francisco. The hotel staff went above an beyond to make... More

We had an overall great experience. Staff was very helpful and change our room due to overnight construction work on O'Farrell and Powell during our stay. They gave us great tips about shopping and bike itineraries. I highly recommend this place.

We booked the least expensive room, and it was just lovely. Maybe on the smallish side, but plenty of room for us. The location was perfect, near the Bart, easy trams and buses. Friendly service. We had a light bulb go out in the evening and they were there within ten minutes. We also tried the Anzu restaurant for dinner... More

Good central hote, easy to get around everywhere on foot. Hotel very large, rooms good and clean, some rooms have a view of a brick wall though - so beware when requesting a room, also ask for high floor. Breakfast good. Staff good, informative on places which was good. Excellent Irish Sport Bar right outside hotel if your a sports... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights here. The first impression made by lobby was great. Open space with running water and nice decorations. It's always an anxious moment when you first walking into a room. We were not disappointed a bit because the very first thing we saw was the bathroom. Great shower and sink. The bed was... More

On the first night of our almost week long stay, their hot water boiler broke down. Past 11 pm we phoned and was told it was fixed and be up in '5 minutes'. 1:30 am - still cold I give up, just do a cold shower. On the last day of our stay. Housekeeping posted a tag in the keyslot... More
