My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in November. Location: central, near Market Street where everything is. Absolutely downtown location Room: good size considering I was expecting a small sized room when booking. Room is modern, comfortable. Bed is comfortable too. My only little complain is after signing up for the internet, the connection was quite spotty and... More

I was fortunate enough to have a business seminar at the Hotel Nikko over the course of two days last month. At check in, I was greeted with a complimentary glass of wine by the hotel's friendly and efficient staff. I upgraded my room to the Imperial Level ($60 u.s. per night), which placed me on an upper level floor... More

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is also very convenient to BART, Union Square, San Francisco Centre and a cable car terminus.

Definitely a hotel that serve, simply because their service is top notch. First off, location is a huge plus as it’s located near to shopping belts all around with restaurants all around the hotel. Next, the cleanliness of the hotel is definitely worth mentioning. Along with the comfortable bed which I believe it is essentially the good core of every... More

The Hotel Nikko is about a fifteen to twenty minute ride from SFO. To go there either, get a cab (accepts credit cards) or by BART. There is no shuttle service, so you have to request for that prior to arriving at SFO. I was supposed to arrive Monday 10th November but due to my flight schedule, I arrived Sunday... More

Clean, accessible, on the expensive side for what it offers. Use of the pool, access to fitness facility came with additional costs. For a business oriented hotel, internet service is expected to be complimentary, but wasn't. When everything is said and done, whether it's a business related activity or not, I prefer to stay in hotels which strike a balance... More

Pros: -Location, near a lot of shopping and you could easily walk to the Financial District or to Chinatown -Modern and recently renovated rooms -Easy to catch a cab or Uber at odd hours in the morning -Walgreens around the corner. Cons: -I was the fourth person in line to check in and everyone was offered a glass of wine... More

The hotel is perfectly located just between Powell Station and Union Square. The rooms are nice but rather small. The WLAN that was free with the room worked well. The staff at the reception is very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, in order to use the pool area, you need to pay additional 20$ per person during the stay. Once, I... More

Reception was friendly. Check in speedy. Rooms very clean and comfortable, but small. Good location. They also have a helpful "Express text your request" service. Lack of complimentary internet and fitness facility access seems really out of date. Also, room service breakfast should start at 6am vs. 6:30.

This hotel is business friendly and has a business formality to the atmosphere, perhaps because it is Japanese. They were very efficient and happy to meet our every need. This is not a small intimate hotel but still has nice boutique touches. I would have liked good coffee as a perk but we were able to buy coffee at the... More

Dear MsRumphius, I'm glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay at Hotel Nikko and especially our pillows. I don't get the chance to stay at the hotel often, but our bedding is very comfortable and we get positive comments about it from our guests quite often. I apologize that the wifi in the rooms seemed to be moving... More
