5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed four nights and we're pleased with the hotel and restaurant. Public rooms nicely furnished and clean, and staff very helpful. Our room was fine, although perhaps a little small. Location is very convenient for Fisherman's wharf, cable cars etc. Free wine in the evening and coffee in the morning was bonus! Restaurant has limited menu but well prepared... More

Stayed here for 7 nights in April 2015. Great hotel at Fishermans Wharf near attractions. Better location than Union Square. Staff very pleasant and helpful; room no complaints and daily complimentary wine in lounge an excellent idea - gets all the guests together where friendships can develop. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate booking up again if... More

Room was great, nice, clean and inviting. The room was small so if there had been more than the 2 of us it would have been a bit cramped but for the location and value it was great. We only stayed a night and due to dinner reservations we were unable to partake in the manager's reception in the evening... More

Stayed here April 26th-29th. Got to the hotel from the airport via the Bart train which was approx $8 each one way and takes you to Embarcadero station, then a cab from there to the hotel as too far to walk, which cost approx $15. Check inn was great and the room was lovely. Location of the hotel is great... More

I would stay here again, but it was not cheap. I have been to San Francisco many times, going back to 1978. This was the first time I have stayed at the Best Western Plus The Tuscan. Hotels in San Francisco typically are expensive, ranging upwards from $200 US per night. The city hosts numerous conventions, and is a popular... More

My stay in San Francisco was for business and I had almost no time to see the city. The Best Western Plus The Tuscan is idealy placed for both business ( easy access by tram line F to the bussiness area and BART) and tourism (Piers, cable cars, etc...) My only slightly negative comments relate to the lack of storage... More

We stayed here for two nights before heading south on our road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway and felt we got the best value for our dollar as this property has great access to all amenities including the cable car turnaround that takes you downtown. would highly suggest a suite for the extra room even if it is just... I looked at all the competing offerings in the bay area, Sheraton, Radisson, Argonaut ( a tad pricier but location and offerings may justify it) and except for the Argonaut, which has the lock on location, its hard to go wrong with any of them, location wise. The BW really had great and attentive staff, rooms and bathroom nice, not... More
