We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Check-In/Out were very fast, our room was ready when we arrived. The room is clean, had fridge and microwave. For some reason the cleaning cart was under our window every morning. The breakfast area does not exist - you have to pick up your breakfast and bring it to your room to... More

nice hotel in central location with easy access to major attractions. Easy check-in/check-out. Our room was next to a utility room, and cleaning cart was standing right at our window every morning. There is no breakfast area - you have to bring your breakfast back into your room to eat. The room was cleaned every day.

We were charged in advance without notice or authorization. Front desk staff are very rude. Asked for the copy of documents to be returned to me at check out and they were not and front desk man was very rude about it. Complete lack of professionalism and customer service at this establishment.

My sister and I stayed here last week and were really happy with everything! I phoned up a few days prior, to ask if we could leave our bags there on our day of arrival, since our plane came in quite early. The lady (Susan?) was really really obliging and gave me some great advice for things to do in... More

I booked my reservation on the wyndaham website, we only need one night as we were stopping through on our way home from Disneyland. I made reservations for 2 adults 2 kids, upon check in the manager ROBERT told me there was a $20 fee per child per night, there was a long back and forth between him and I.... More

Nice staff. Clean comfortable beds. Good WiFi. Short walk to good food, lively fun, safe neighborhood. Free parking. Nice place I would go back. I was bummed the garden was closed due to upgrades, but it was winter in San francisco...

This Super 8 is a great location for getting to the main places in San Francisco. About a 40 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf. Great restaurants close by, particularly on Chestnut St. Try Judy's or the Tipsy Pig. Parking at the hotel, although limited spaces, is free for guests. This is a bonus as parking anywhere in the city is... More

Initially the AC/Heater would not work and Susan moved us to another room where she already had the heat on and ready for us to just drop our luggage. The stay was short and the staff was wonderful. If we are back in that area this location would be a good choice for a short walk to Chestnut Street restaurants... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
