Stayed in a double room. Very large, and good gueen beds. The Internet was very poor and TV set and reception was worst I have seen in decades. Ask for improvement, but none. Staff nice. Simple breakfast, but fine. Some parking available in room cost, so not extra, a big plus if you have a car.

It was clean, neat and very comfortable. A decent breakfast. The hot water in the shower took a long time coming. Felt guilty wasting the water here in California.

For the location, you would forgive all the other shortcomings. It's like most other Days inns. Staff is usually curt but efficient and helpful. Rooms are ok, every room had an iron and stand. Old style TVs, a functioning ac/heater. Highlight of my room was the jacuzzi tub. Fairly large sized but on the flip side I couldn't get the... More

Older hotel, but still good value for the cost of the room. Parking is VERY limited, but you get a parking place keep it.

For the price, I expected much better. The greeter at the front desk was very nice. However, when we got into the room, there was dried pee on the toilet seat marked with the "sanitized" band. The front office person came in and cleaned it for us after asking us if we just wanted to clean it ourselves. Uh....NO! He... More

Fairly well situated -- 5-10 minute walk to Market Street to catch the 'F' tram to the shops, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf; 5 minute walk to the Civic Centre to catch the Hop On Hop Off bus. Otherwise generally quite average -- we've stayed at better Days Inns on this tour

Stayed at this hotel 4 nights a August 2014. The room was rather small and the parking was terrible, as there wasnt enough parking spaces for all. So you couldnt use the car in the evening, as you would have to pay a good amount of money in the parking lot close by. Breakfast was silly. It is a hotelroom... More

We spent 5 days with our son in San Francisco. The Days Inn offered a friendly and clean enviornment. The breakfast was just right to get the morning off to a good start. Hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, juice were available. We walked all over the city. However, there was great shopping and food nearby!

This place had everything we needed and is located in a great location in San Francisco. There are so many places to walk to from here, a great great great burger joint in the parking lot and a nice breakfast room for us all to enjoy. My only complaint and Its really a non-issue to me but still should be... More

Staying in Hayes Valley

Neighborhood Profile
Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a community park at its center and dozens of trendy businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish respite.
