A great nice and clean hotel , visited a busy Easter time . The location is great and near to the Main Street which is market street with all the shops and brands around . Rooms are clean and nice breakfast buffet . Get rooms with higher floors as the lower rooms not nice views . The best rooms are... More

So if you like Westins, you'll probably like this place. It's centrally located with modern, professional staff and is very clean and comfortable. I've stayed here 20+ times in the past (when it was the Westin) and it's really the same place. I wonder if they are going to update the hotel with the brand? That would be interesting.

I've stayed here a number of times for business, but stayed for vacation this time. They've update the lobby, bar and restaurant areas - much nicer than before! Room was nice with a good view. Very easy location to get in and out of. Staff was very attentive and friendly - not sure I would recommend the restaurant though --... More

How many times do you get to make a first impression? When we first arrived, Park Central had two people working registration, with two lines, so I waited on one of the lines. When the person ahead of me was finished, I stepped up to the desk and the young lady said "excuse me" and left with a big smile... More

This hotel is located in central downtown, walking distance to many great spots. The staff was really friendly and the room was modern and comfy! The only negative thing I can say is that the room was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but considering I wasn't there to stay in a hotel room, I was perfectly fine with... More

Standard hotel fare. This is the old Westin and I don't recall any big changes decor-wise. Looks the same, feels the same which is good because I like the Westin. 27th floor facing south has a gorgeous view of Yerba Buena and the city. The big bay windows is definitely a plus. The bathroom accessories were a disappointment. No ear... More

In regards to the guest bathroom amenities, I have forwarded your feedback over to our housekeeping management team. All the best! Safe travels! More

Our room with two queen beds on the 31st floor had a great view all the way to Alcatraz and including many city buildings and neighborhoods. Moving around the city from here was easy, with buses, cable cars, and historic street cars running within a block or two. We took the BART from the airport and it was an easy... More

Was in San Francisco on business - my first visit to the city. This hotel was horrendous and affected my stay. The staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful, the food is horrid and the room small and uncomfortable. How this is a part of the Starwood group is beyond me.

I recently stayed at this hotel while taking part of the conference at Moscone. I like this hotel very much. Lively bar area. I had been upgraded to a deluxe room which was spacious and modern. I would definitely consider staying here again when I am back in town later this year.

This was a comfortable hotel in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. It seems to have been renovated recently, and feels crisp. The food in the restaurant is good but not great. The hotel is a good option in this area of downtown SF.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
