Had a room with private shower, everything pretty basic, but clean. Location is awesome, close to Union Square and Chinatown, BART and MUNI, and it feels pretty safe to walk in the area even at night. Wifi's been an issue though, either it's not connecting, or it's very slow. All in all, a good place if you just need to... More

The Park Hotel is located one and a half block away from Union Square, which makes it very centric and convenient for tourists visiting the city. The room was small and it had a strong smell of humidity. They do not have a/c, but that is not a problem in March, as the weather at night was in the 50s.... More

We only did one night. The rooms are small and spare and we had a shared bathroom. European style hotel but very reasonably priced for the location. We had a street-side room on the 5th food and it was loud with the window open - avoid if you don't want this.

This hotel is great for the solo traveler looking for somewhere to just sleep and shower (though you must remember they are shared showers). It is in a great location within the city. It's what you expect for the price you are paying, nothing fancy. Staff was great!

There were some negative reviews so I was a little concerned about the Park. No smell of cigarettes when you walked in - as was in a previous review. The guy at the desk was courteous, smiling and helpful. The ride up to my room was in a cool old lift. I stayed on the 5th floor and there wasn't... More

Just spent 2 nights here and found it lovely. The elevator that several people had negative comments about is fun. It is typical of elevators in all the older buildings in Europe. Yes, the rooms are small and walls thin but our only noise came from the alley outside the property. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Rodel and... More

Definitely worth the money! I was greeted by the staff when I walked in who was very nice, every room comes with a large size fridge and the premise has a full sized kitchen and laundry room. Be careful when you book... Request a bedroom with a private bathroom ($10 more) or you will be sharing a bathroom and shower... More

I was so happy as we entered this room. So clean, so simple but stylish, fridge and desk as well as a white bathroom. Lovely staff and awesome location- China town is less than 100m - the same with union square. The area has a great feel about it. Would defiantly recommend especially for this price!

It was my first time tripping by myself and being well located was essential. The Hotel is a little bit old, but clean and functional. Rodel (reception) was really kind and helpfull. I'd stay there again and recommend the hotel.

Loved the whole vibe of the place. Rustic elevator with that Great Gatsby appeal and roaring 20s prestige. I'm a fan. Friendly desk clerks with knowledge of bombdong burger joints nearby #mynewbestfriend Maids were chil and courteous, hooking me up with soaps and fresh towels. Hallway bathrooms kinda make it hard to poop but whatevs. San Francisco Dawg!
