Reminded me of a dorm room. The shared toilet is in a closet with no sink. and the shared shower is in a small room with nothing but the shower. Cheap mattress. Parking is very convenient. TV has only 7 stations and no HD.

It was easy to get to this hotel from the San Francisco Airport using the BART transit system (cost was only about $9 each way! way cheaper than a taxi!). We got off at the Montgomery St. stop and it was only a few minutes walk to the hotel. Positives: The location is great - right in the middle of... More

I came here last week with my girlfriend. We were at San Francisco purely for the sake of having fun and traveling. The room wasn't anything fancy, but it did the job. the location was perfect, and it was a peaceful night's sleep if you just close the window. I suggest you pay the extra 15 dollars for your own... The blankets and towels were dirty. The toilet and shower where outside, only one per floor, we couldn't shower because it was allways occupied. The room is horrible. And VERY expensive. Not recomendable at all.

Stayed a single night in a room with a double bed and private bathroom. With regards to accommodations, more than anything else I just want a place to sleep and shower without being afraid, or waking up with a mysterious rash, or having to fight/kill critters. That being said, Park Hotel was better than I expected. The staff was friendly, the... More

Clean room, clean bathroom - nothing new or fancy, but fits the bill for a business trip to downtown SFO. Staff was friendly and helpful. Street noise can be a factor but it was nothing unusual for a non-sealed hotel in this neighborhood.

The rooms are a little bit old, as well as the building but the ubication was perfect and the bed very very comfortable. (Much more than what i expected) During the night i could hear noize from the street. If i ever stay again i would ask for an interior room.

The photos on the internet were very misleading. It looked like it had been done up. It had been painted over years of other paint. No hairdryer, no double glazing, no breakfast. Staff were excellent.

Perfect location, it was close to everywhere. The room was good: nice, big and clean. Also, the shared bathroom was not a problem at all, since it was clean and free everytime I wanted to use it. However, the room was pretty noisy at night because of the wind in the old closed window. I couldn't rest good enough the... More

Excellent 5-night stay on the 5th floor in the heart of SF. Affordable, charming old elevator, nice rooms, very nice staff. The free wifi worked well. (Also has washer/dryer, a computer, and a kitchen on the 3rd floor for those who need it.)
