There isn't anything necessarily bad about this hotel but it is very basic cheap accommodation. The room had no toilet or shower so had shared facilities. The bed was comfortable so no issue sleeping. The location is great and the price is reasonable but it is a very basic nights stay.

Clean, well-run hotel. Employees have a good attitude. Not posh or romantic, but user-friendly, spartan and functional. If you're looking for a value hotel in the financial district, this is it. Within a few blocks of a BART station, a good diner (Lori's), a 7/11, and the Top of the Mark for a commanding view of the city. Coin-op washer/dryers... More

Park Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Union Square and Chinatown and is in a good neighborhood. Public transportation, including BART, is also convenient and within walking distance. The hotel is kind of historic and is a reasonably priced, particularly good value. Hotel staff was always helpful. Room was clean and in good condition. A kitchen was available... More

This is a very basic hotel. The soundproofing poor is poor. There was noise from room above, room beside, and from the hallway. However, the location was good and price was reasonable. The room did have a private bathroom. The room was quite small but adequate. It had a fridge.

A very well located hotel in the center of the city, close to the Chinatown Gate and very easy to go everywhere in the city. Good and friendly staff and good services as well. We are very happy of beeing there, and the price is very good. Thanks a lot to all of you!

this was a very basic room but in a funky old hotel in a great location. The desk and hotel staff was also great--knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. The price was definitely right and the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and safe, the room was very basic (the TV only had the local channels) but it... More

It is near by Union square. Not a bad place for sight seeing. Personally, I never have experienced shared shower since I was 24 years old. Better say YouthHostel than Hotel. If you want to save travel buget, this would be a second thought.

Hotel in a perfect location - Union Square at the centre of everything. It has a small common kitchen equipped with everything for guests who want to cook/prepare food. Coin-operated laundry near the reception was good and cheap $5 per load for both wash and drying machines. Clean room with bathroom ensuite and very informative receptionist/hotel manager. You have to... More
