Located centrally in San Fransisco with friendly and helpful staff this is a steal. Yes, the rooms are small, shared bathroom might not be ideal, and the building is oldish, but this is all clearly advertised. It's clean and surprisingly quiet (we got a room to the alley). We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location, near from Chinatown's Gate. It's comfortable and charm, a little old fashioned, the only negative point is the elevator. The room is enough for the price. You shouldn't expect luxury paying so low.

The location of the hotel next to Union Square was convenient. It was within walking distance to the BART, cable car, streetcar and MUNI stations. There were also many food options and a Walgreens nearby. Stayed in a room with private bathroom. The rooms were simple and clean. The staff were polite and helpful. A good value for the price... I had a room to the back street, this street wa noisy till the Morning hours and You Heard- everything because of the extremly poor one glass windows. The furniture and the bathroom interior was poor too. No go for this price!

Sheets with blood spots and blanket even worst. Small bedroom. Too expensive for what you get (obviously is not exactly what you see in pictures). The staff is nice but it's not enaugh for what we paid.

Excellent location! Friendly staff. No surprises, room was as shown in photos. Elevator was handy with our heavy luggage. Multi level parking across the street made it worry free. No noise issues as we were in the back of the hotel. Very comfy bed although not large. Refrigerator is always a plus. Also noticed cooking facilities although we did not... More

In San Francisco you can get a new, very large and very expensive hotel or old, still pricey, but not a go get a bank loan for a night in a downtown hotel. The Park is such a place. From Rodel (mgr.) to Eric (night clerk) to maids you will find very friendly, helpful staff. We're glad we took their... More

We stayed a couple of nights at the Park Hotel in a room with a private bath during a family PCH road trip. We were only in San Fran for a few days, so we literally only used the hotel for sleeping and showers, and it was perfect for our needs. I'm so happy we found this hotel and saved... More

The room was fine, spacious in comparison to some others we have stayed in in San Fran although it felt very sterile almost. Lift was extremely old and didn't work a couple of times we tried to get luggage up. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom so it was clean and had all the necessities but it... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during a whirlwind tour of San Francisco. As long as a hotel is in a good location, is clean, inexpensive and safe, we're happy. The Park Hotel met all those criteria. No doubt about it, this is a bare bones kind of place. If you're looking for luxury, you'll be thoroughly... More
