We enjoyed our stay at the Seaside Inn in June 2014. It was exactly what we wanted for our family of 4 adults travelling together - great location for walking or public transportation around SF, clean, comfortable, and $200/night. (was hard to find a room to accommodate 4 people in the city, for most the max was 2 persons) Beds... More

We arrived at the hotel at around 6 p.m. and as we didn't have much time in the city we just parked our car, changed clothes, dropped our bags and left. When we came back from our walk at something past 11, I tried to use the bathroom but the door was stuck. Upon inspection the door turned out to... More

If you aren't a picky traveler this is a decent place to stay. It isn't in the busy areas of Fisherman's Wharf or Downtown and is within walking distance (if you enjoy walking a lot) of everything you need to see in San Fran. Some issues were the water pressure in the shower, the wifi was extremely slow, continental breakfast... More

Excellent service, very clean & well appointed rooms, albeit a little compact, but overall good value for the price. My wife & I were pleasantly surprised. Would recommend as a good place, especially if you need to park a car (which ain't easy in that part of San Francisco!)

My family members are very pleased that I have chosen Seaside Inn. We have four persons and we do not want to have two rooms, there are two King size beds in the room, it meets our needs perfectly. The hotel is great values, room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast can eat in our room, we love the microwave in the... More

If you just need to stay to sleep, no need those extra facilities, this is a pretty good place to stay. The room and bathroom are clean, which is important. The bed is quite comfy. However the parking is quite full if you check in after dark. The so called hi-speed wireless internet is better to be called lo-speed or... More

We were there two nights and it was close to restaurants and bus lines. The service was outstanding and they wished to accommodate or needs. We would recommend this place to our friends and family. We would stay there again.

After a 12 hour flight, I just wanted to get into a large comfy bed, and that's exactly what we got at the Seaside In. Check in was quick and easy and the lady on reception couldn't have been more helpful. The room was immaculately clean with all the necessary facilities and the location of the hotel on Lombard Street... More

I was alarmed to find my budget hotel room in SF had no bathroom. I found seaside on booking.com and immediately reserved a room for $130US. When I arrived around noon I was told my room would not ready until 3PM- check in time. When I explained what ahs happened the owner got my room ready for 1:30. She was... More

We stayed here for one night on a quick holiday visit. The room was small but huge comfy bed and spotlessly clean. It was very modern and comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was basic but good. The car park was free but tight for space. The location was easy for busses and only about a... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
