Had a great few days at the hostel back in December. Spent time with my boyfriend, who was bicycling the coast. The nice front desk staff held his bike for him the entire time. Our room was on an inside air shaft and was quiet. The bathroom wasn't too busy, there were many activities, the kitchen is a nice set-up... More

This is a great hostel! The staff was friendly, everything was clean, and it was close to several good restaurants. The teenagers in our group loved having their own bunks and for the price, they didn't mind doing their own dishes. It was nice to have in-room bathrooms as well instead of down the hall.

The pleace is everything i need when i go away...clean, close to public transport and excellent staff. But, if you are a woman traveling by yourself, I recommend that you get a taxi from and to the hostel if you are going out at night. Area could be a bit scary for some (depending which part of the world you... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, and I found the hostel to be great. Seeing and my friend and I have both worked in a party hostel in Prague we were intrigued to see what US hostels were like. We made a last minute booking and due to a computer conference in San Fran we werent able to be in... More

Friendly staff, great kitchen and rooms are what you should expect at a hostel. There are outlets by every bed with a little night stand and light. Rooms with bathrooms and showers. The little bar is a great place to start off the night before heading out. Have to walk a block to catch buses. The neighborhood is pretty bad,... More

A great hostel experience! We stayed here four days for a nearby conference. It's close to everything and easy to access. The front desk staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help out. The rooms are colorful, clean, and accommodating. A true hosteling experience including good fun people. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again.

1. Its a great deal, best place to stay if you don't want to leave a big hole in your wallet. Room rate including simple breakfast, everyone wash their own plate after finishing meal. In the morning there will be a long que for $1 pancake :) 2. Everyone I met in the hostel is nice, teenagers from all over... More

I stayed here for almost 2 weeks, and had an amazing time. The staff were genuinely friendly and so helpful. They make a huge effort to make this hostel feel welcoming, and they succeed. They have really large, comfortable common areas to hang out in, decked out in cool mismatched furniture, plants, books, and general interesting paraphernalia. And if you... More

As we jumped in our cab from the airport and gave the driver the address, he warned us immediately that we were staying in a bad part of town. Uh oh. As we got closer, we could see why he said that, homeless people, rubbish, graffiti, etc everywhere. When we got to the hostel, we were greeted by a very... More
