Old property, poor interiors, tiny spaces, terrible neighborhood, slow wi-fi, breakfast of only donuts, great connectivity with public transport and food joints (including Indian), nice and helpful owners - overall reco - do NOT stay here with family. Barely tolerable for a single individual.

I can not believe places like this still exist. It should be illegal to have an establishment like this, let alone charge a pretty penny for you to stay there. Luckily I only stayed 1 night, and was able to cancel for the other days. I reckon sleeping on the street might have been more pleasant and clean. Firstly, I... More

Not the best, more like a hostel than a hotel. The room was alright considering we didn't spend much time there, but there were stains on the bedding and sink. The power button on the TV also fell out, so was difficult to turn on. The fire alarm went off at midnight, the staff were not very helpful, no information... More

We booked this hotel on the strength of it being cheap and the photos looked nice......DONT be fooled by the pictures. The hotel had a strange smell (probably unclean) throughout but especially in the bathrooms and the bedroom smelt musty. The reception area was dingy with broken vending machines and an urn of coffee which didn't look appealing . We... More

My cousin & I just stayed here this past weekend for a concert. It's technically a hostel but most of the rooms are standard double beds with shared bathrooms/showers (made for 2 people at most), which isn't too bad either. All the rooms have a sink in them too. Bed was comfortable and it was a good place to stay... More

I booked this hotel based on price. The location doesn't scare me. I walk around skid row in Los Angeles. I called hotel asking about there house rules and check in policies. I was told that if I wanted to have a visitor in my room I would have to pay $30.00 and that every time that I leave the... More

In the price range same as this hotel, choose anything else except this hotel. NEVER STAY HERE untill and unless this is a dire need and absolutely unavoidable. Reasons: 1. very unsafe location, though your would read that its on Market street blah blah blah, this is true it is close to shopping area and not that far from Moscone... More

I needed to make a last minute trip to San Francisco and really didn't have a lot of money to spend. Thus, I found myself choosing between a few very inexpensive hotels and becoming increasingly worried about where I was going to find myself. When I arrived at Aida I'll admit it was relatively unlike any other hotel I have... More

This hotel taught me so much about the importance of research. We went on a whim. Booked 2 days prior. Saw a good price and clicked buy. When you drive up, you immediately know that you are not going to walk anywhere in this part of town. Then you walk in the door and you say to yourself "what the... More

I typically do not write online reviews but I've never had an experience as bad as this one so I felt like I had just had to leave feedback. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE. The cost was so high for such a dump. The place is a total dive. The area is pretty bad. There is no place... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
