Not bad when you are out exploring from sunrise to sunset!! I don't understand why peeps pay more to sleep on a bed!! Beds we're comfy and unit was clean!!! Coffee, tea and donuts included!! Centrally located, easy to walk around! Felt safe and had Internet!!

Stay here for 3nights, it has a bed yes but after that don't look for great facilities. Great for staying one night but not fit for families or groups. Homeless people lying outside the front door too

After booking on a site (which didn't mention the hotel before hand) I was a little worried with the reviews about the neighborhood. I figured I was going to get jumped as soon as I left the property. No. The neighborhood does have a lot of of homelessness, but it seems that most of where I visited in San Francisco... More

First of all NEVER AGAIN this hotel was by far the dumbest I've ever stayed at. Horrible coustomer service. I was just looking forward into celebrating and having a good time for my birthday and this place ruined everything. First of all I got a suite and it was the worst looking suite ever practically a joke, definitely not what... More

I booked this hotel on hotwire and they charged me $28 more than would be available at the hotel website. But my big complaint is the website says bathrooms are private or shared the latter of which meant to me one between two sleeping rooms. Mine was at the end of the hall. Not a good situation for a man... More

DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS HOTEL. We had a last minute seminar in SF and needed to stay overnight because BART schedule starts too late on Sunday and would make us late for the seminar. Most hotels were booked up due to the SF Marathon. The lobby of this hotel/motel was old and smelly. Yuck! The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, and was a great convenient location. The staff were so helpful and friendly as well. Complimentary 'breakfast' and free tea and coffee 24/7. Room and bathroom always clean and general appearance of building although old, not dirty at all!

Great hotel if ur on a budget not far from union square but as I was travelling alone I didn't feel safe walking back late as the area was fairly sketchy...it had a lot of people hanging about outside drunk and homeless...not something the hotel can help but just something to be aware of...the staff in the hotel were lovely... This hotel has seen better days, it was great for us because we were travelling on a tight budget and we needed to book somewhere in San Fran reasonably last minute, and Aida still had vacancies. We didn't spend very much time at the hotel, and as long as you go in with the right level of expectations this can... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
