Well pretty much everyone has said wat i wanna to say abt this hotel, and it is pretty true too...from the the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the staff was all very pleasant and efficient, the front desk staff even recommended us to join a local tour to Napa Valley to which we did, and... more

Really liked this hotel. It was an affordable and trendy little boutique option in San Francisco. We were on a week-long tour from Northern to Southern California, and we stayed here for two nights. We had a higher level view executive room. The room was great! We joined the JDV Club and had wine waiting for us when we entered.... more

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Adagio. The price was great, the in room honor bar was convenient. Good coffee available in the room as well. The complimentary hot tea in the lobby in the evenings was a nice surprise. The hotel is so close to Union Square you are there in less than 5 minutes. Our meeting was in... more

I booked the Adagio after some contacts on another site I am a member of recommended the Joie De Vivre hotels so I took a look at several and calculated costs etc and shared them with my travelling companion. We settled on the Adagio based on a mix of location and price. I managed to book 6 nights with a... more

We booked this hotel via Travel 2 as part of a trip to the US and stayed for 3 nights earlier this month. After a long and tiring journey we were met by a really friendly front of house team and shown to a lovely corner room on the 5th floor overlooking the street. The room was clean and nicely... more

We stayed at Adagio on two separate nights while vacationing in SF and Wine Country in early September 2009. For price and location ( across from The Clift and a few blocks up from Union Square)- we'll most definitely return to Adagio on any trip to the San Francisco area. Positives: Location and value- with style! The room was spacious... more

Great hotel, friendly staff, great location. Bummer the restaurant closed down as it was also very good. Luckily there are so many choices within walking distance it wasn't inconvenient. more

We stayed at the Hotel Adagio several years ago after they had first opened and loved it! This Spring, we were headed to California again with a quick 2 day stay in San Francisco. Why fix what's not broken??? We chose to stay at the Hotel Adagio again....we were NOT disappointed! We arrived late that evening and were warmly welcomed... more

Overrated Hotel in my eyes compared to what others think on this site. It had an ideal location I thought room was huge with little in it , Bed was tiny , room was dark , poor facilities no bar. It was grand for someone was visting the City for a first time but i would go elsewhere next time. more

My stay at the Hotel Adagio was amazing. I was there for 3 nights for my 25th birthday. We arrived much earlier then planned, and our room was already ready. They graciously allowed us to check in early. They recognized that I was celebrating my birthday and had a card, and small bottle of wine for me in my room.... more
