I liked this hotel, but I do feel that I didn't get the full benefit of staying there. The location was great, and the staff were friendly. I was there during the renovation of the restaurant and bar, so that was closed. I'm sure it will be great when it reopens, though. My room was on the second floor, and... More

Hotel was a short walk from the BART station. Victor warmly welcomed me at check-in with kindness and information, making me quickly feel 'at home' in the most beautiful city our country has to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to find the best alternative to a vending machine on my hall. The free-flowing, complimentary, filtered water was more appreciated than... More

I enjoyed my stay at Club Quarters San Fran. Our room was comfortable (great mattress!) with a lovely terrace looking towards Treasure Island, and we appreciated the kitchenette. The staff was friendly and efficient. Jeffrey checked us in and remembered us throughout our weekend stay, and Elizabeth C. helped us check out efficiently and stored our bag. The location of... We stayed at Club Quarters for 2 nights during the Chinese new year weekend celebration. The staff was great, Marie and her team accommodated all our needs. My favorite part was the location which is central to everywhere we wanted to go, including a short walk to the heart of china town. The quick checkout kiosk is also very convenient.... More

We are going back to the Philippines from Corning California and we decided to take a 2-night stay at Club Quarters San Francisco. Marie and the team was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the heart of Financial district, downtown of SF, across the cinema, near restaurants, Chinatown, Port of San Francisco going to Pier 39, Embarcadero,... More

I stayed at this hotel March 13th. The room was clean. It's great that there is free coffee and water all the time. There are good restaurants nearby, and the staff are helpful with suggestions about things to do. Jon and Sarbi were particularly helpful and made me feel very welcome. I will come here again.

Thank you Gregg M. You are correct in that there are a great many restaurants to choose from nearby. I'm excited about the opening of our new restaurant Fish & Farm this April. I do hope you have a chance to try them out when you come back. I will share your comments with both Jon and Sarbi. Thanks for... More

Sarbi welcomed us, made us feel very relaxed and informed about the hotel and parking. She was extremely knowledgeable answering all our City questions and made us our dinner reservations. They were ready for a early checkin as well.

Stayed at the Club Quarters in SF--great stay on Tuesday overnight. Rooms clean and the complimentary coffee/tea at the club room were a nice touch. They gave us free bottle water on the floors. Liz Kim helped with a great room and great with directions to the places in need. Love the free internet and printing. Great stay for my... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
