I recently had the pleasure to visit one of my favorite cities, San Francisco and stayed again at the Club Quarters Hotel. It had been awhile since my last visit. When I arrived, John and other staff associates recognized me and commented on the fact it had been awhile since my last visit. They called me by name and said... More

Centrally located in the business district of SF, this type of lodging is strictly for the working person. The rooms are small (college dorm equivalent), but all of the required necessities are included ( bed & bathroom). Try to get a room on a higher floor if possible, to avoid excessive street noise. The iron & board are located in... More

Club Quarters is a little tricky to review. The location is perfect for doing business in the Financial District. Lots of great food options nearby. The snacks and coffee machine are handy. Everything is clean and they do a good job informing you about the available amenities (I had a yoga kit delivered to my room that was appreciated). The... More

but..smaller quarters than I am accustomed to. The personnel were fantastic, the free water and wifi was a nice perk. The easily accessible business office with available printing was a plus as well. The next door restaurant, just opened, not sure of the name, had tasty food and excellent bar tending !

Filtered water dispenser is a fantastic, underrated perk. Front desk service was attentive and helpful. Grab a quick bite to eat elsewhere if you plan to check in later at night; there isn't much in the way of food locally if you arrive later than 9pm.

Sure, the Club Quarters isn't glamorous - but in terms of value for money, it really doesn't get better than this. The CQ is in the Financial District which means it's great for business trips, but within easy walking distance of lots of tourist attractions. Staff are friendly, check in / out straightforward. The rooms are very plain and simple... More

Nice staff. Excellent extras. Very cute and trendy! Location is within walking distance to everything. The only tiny disappointment was the quality of the toilet paper.. I know that sounds kind of strange but you would think with such a classy trendy hotel they would have some soft thick toilet paper.LOL

Recently on a business trip I stayed at SF Club quarter and Marie and Sarbi checked us in. They were so accomadating that I am sure I will be back again soon. It was conveniently located to the Ferry Bldg and great resturants. Short walk to North Beach section of SF.i

The staff is amazing at this hotel. I had the pleasure of meeting Sarbi and Marie. They are both exceptionally friendly women with a real sense of pride in their employment.. Whenever you need an idea of things to do, or places to eat, just ask them. They seem to know the area very well.

This hotel is located near the financial district. Walking distance to china town. Long walk to pier and the wharf. This is not a major chain but a chain of several hotels. Check in was assisted by the staff. Mostly performed electronically with the staff answering any questions that a computer couldn't. Helpful was the staff to provide instructions for... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
