We check in around 9:30pm and greeted with a smile by Jeff (front desk host) very friendly gentleman he help us took our photos and assist us with the check in process. Rooms are laid out pretty nice with kitchenette ,and small porch outside facing the Bay Bridge. In the morning while me and my kids are hanging out in... More

For Moscone Center-based conferences in the era of Uber, I find this CQ property convenient and pleasant. I don't mind small rooms or twin beds (for a roommate situation); the other appointments are higher-quality than expected. There are Keurig machines in the rooms, so remembering to bring my favorite pods is a must! The front desk personnel, particularly Sarbi, were... More

Stayed here on business. Convenient to Financial District and Ferry Building (Farmer's Market). Rooms are not very big and feel kinda like a dorm room. Definitely not luxurious. But the the location is good. Fitness center is pretty good, but it's in the basement so no view while you work out. If you're a runner, there's a linear trail along... More

The friendly and helpful advise from Marie, Liz and Sarbi in regards to Muni & walking directions, tourist attractions, restaurant recommendations was on point. Their happy smiles made my stay feel like home. The rooms are clean with flat screen tvs. Lounge area with wifi and coffee was also a plus. Thanks again to Sarbi, Luiz and Marie for a... More

Holy smoke this place is a block away from a San Francisco firehouse and I'm not talking about the sandwich shops. If they were called to duty while I was sleeping I cannot say because my sleep was, thankfully, uninterrupted. I was walking by once when their sirens blared. I had a room on the second floor at the very... More

Super convenient location in downtown within walking distance to the Powell shopping area, public transportation, and the Ferry Building/Embarcadero and amazingly quiet as well as I probably had the best sleep in years at this hotel. Rooms are great value if you have membership affiliation (not sure what the rates are without). These aren't 5-star hotel quality rooms and it's... More

The best thing about this property is it's minimalist efficiency plus location, location, location. After a 2 minute check-in & dropping my luggage into the room, I strolled a few minutes east, along the Embarcadero shopping plaza to SF's Ferry Building for a delicious late lunch (too many wonderful & diverse choices there to name). Major transit links (@ Market... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
