I attended a trade show at the Moscone Center and stayed at the Club Quarters hotel for 4 nights. I had an overall very pleasant stay since the location is great and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly; especially Sarbi and Jon went out of their way to help whenever they could. My room was a... More

Club Quarters was value for money accommodation and the location was pretty good really, walking distance to Union Square (approx 15 mins), Fisherman's Wharf Pier 1 (approx 10 mins) and China Town (approx 10 mins). Close to public transport (approx 5-8 mins). The rooms were comfortable and free water filter & bottles provided on each floor. WiFi was free and... More

I can not say enough about the staff and how helpful they were in helping us sort out a mix up in our reservation. Courtney went above and beyond in helping us and making us feel like everything will work out. Griffin also worked with Courtney in making sure we were taken care of. This was a spur of the... More

Club Quarters is a great brand for business travelers, and the SF property is no different. The location in the financial district is central to much of the city, and public transit just outside the door and within a couple of blocks can take you anywhere in the city you want to go for tourism. Having said that, the actual... More

My boyfriend and I checked in on a Thursday (they were so nice and let us check in almost 3 hours early since our flight was so early in the morning) and we checked out Monday morning. The staff were very friendly from the moment we got in. We had the option to upgrade for an extra $25 but decided... More

We had a great stay last weekend! Wonderful service, very clean rooms and great location. Will stay again! With the Le Merdian across the street costing at least 3 times as much, you can't go wrong here.

My business colleagues and I landed rooms at the Club Quarters, not realizing that it is a membership hotel; i.e. companies with a commitment of 200 or more stays per month. Evidently they do make exceptions in non-peak periods. The experience was markedly different from a "normal" hotel - snacks (nuts, banana chips, M&Ms), hot (coffee, cappuccino) and cold (sodas)... Our first time in San Francisco so we where unsure were to stay. We were very happy with our choice at the Club Quarters, great location, close to shops, transport, and activities. The rooms were clean and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 1 child. Would recommend this hotel.

My office is in Embarcadero Center. Other hotels in the area are much more expensive than CQ and I find it perfectly acceptable for a business trip. The rooms are small, but efficiently organized. I often say it's a bit like a cruise ship room, taking advantage of the space they have. Plenty of desk space, and free wi-fi. This... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
