We spent the first part of our visit to SF in the touristy district -- but decided that we'd like to try a place a little different for the last part of our visit. The Inn at the Presidio was exactly what we were looking for! It was wonderful! We had a two-room suite which was very comfortably decorated with... More

Despite having family and friends in the city and nearby, I had grown to dislike San Francisco in recent years... Enter the Inn at the Presidio! I first stayed when the Inn was fairly new, and since then it has been the ONLY place I'll stay here. Fully booked? I'll reschedule my trip rather than stay elsewhere! You see, I... More

We came for two nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were very happy with our accommodations. We didn't have the best view (over the parking lot and looking at the church) and know to request a different room next time. The breakfast and wine/cheese were both very well managed and great food offerings. We knew we were in... More

we had a great visit over 4th of July 2014 weekend. View of Suasalito fireworks from our top floor room (no elevator though). Breakfast and Afternoon food is very good, but we spoiled our dinners eating too much of it. Highlight was Sergio bringing us freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and milk by the fire pit at 9:30 PM when... More

We have just stayed at the Inn @ Presidio. Overall it is a modern, light, airy hotel set in the middle of the Presidio park. The surroundings are beautiful and the hotel itself is well decorated with great facilities. Our room was spacious with all the usual amenities including a large walk in shower, comfortable bed etc. All of which... More

We only stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The building, although very old, has been modernised to an extremely high standard without totally destroying the history and character - and what a fantastic location; right in the heart of the Presidio with instant access to miles of hiking trails and so peaceful at night. In... More

Our absolute favorite place to stay in San Francisco. You have to see the Presidio and you really should stay here to do it. The history, the preservation, the grounds, the staff, the natural wildlife ... its all amazing. you pay a lot, but it is completely worth it. Completely.

Our family of 3 stayed at the Inn at the Presidio for 3 nights in June. It was a totally wonderful experience. Our room was a king suite on the 3rd floor with window that opened to the front and rear of the inn. Our bed and the sofa bed our son used in the living room were both comfortable.... More

Two of us arrived a bit prior to our 3pm check-in time on a Monday, for a five night stay. Our room wasn't ready so we asked whether there were a place we might walk to for a late lunch. The receptionist suggested the Presidio Social Club a short distance from the Inn. We had a lovely lunch there, then... More

The Inn is so well done, and is located in such a special, historical place. When you stay in the Presidio, there is a sense of space and nature. As opposed to other hotels in the city where you feel more closed in and concrete is waiting outside your door. Here there are nature trails and plenty of green space... More
