We stayed at the Inn 4 nights and could've stayed for a month! the Inn itself is rich in history and elegance. The suite with balcony access on the second floor was perfect - with a view of the bridge. The afternoon wine and cheese receptions were a great place to talk with others and find new things to see.

Historically interesting location and building. Room on second floor was somewhat small but comfortable. Nice big bathroom with shower. Breakfast was included and was a typical European style breakfast you would find at a bed and breakfast, cheese, ham, cut fruit, assorted breads, juice tea and coffee. Both tea and coffee were above average. We stayed five nights. If your... More

Wow! What can I say? First I'll qualify my comments by stating that my husband and I LOVE all things antique! We live in an old (1886) Vic, filled with period and older "stuff!!" So the Inn at the Presidio (previously the BOQ, Bachelor Officer Quarters) was right up our alley!! It's located on historic grounds. The Presidio Trust has... More

Inn at Presidio is everything a historic hotel should be. It is beautifully decorated with vintage touches but has all the modern amenities. The hotel is situated within the National Park, Presidio of San Francisco, the original military post established in 1846. It is an oasis of calm and beauty with hiking trails and nice views. You really need a... More

We love the location -- right in the middle of the Presidio. Traveling with kids, it is nice to have all that open space (trails, grass) outside. There is also a bowling alley and a couple of nice restaurants within the walking distance. But service at this Inn is too low for the prices they are charging. Wine and cheese... More

We spent a few nights during the holidays at Inn at the Presidio and it was a fantastic experience! Beautiful suite, lovely bathroom and complimentary water (lol)! Weather was kinda bad, so we didnt check out the hiking trails, but great place. Only thing I didn’t like about the place was water pressure in the shower, too less. Except for... More

My husband and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day night at the Inn. Of course most of the Presidio amenities were closed for the holidays but what a lovely setting. The public areas of the hotel were decorated for Christmas (I now wish I had photos to share) and it was very cozy and inviting ....and so quiet. The... More

We stayed here for our first time for 2 nights, and I wish it was a longer stay! The location is beautiful and surrounded by woods and the bay. We also had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room. The room was a very good size, plenty of room to hang around comfortably. The bed, robes, slippers,... More

Stayed here whilst visiting San Francisco for our honeymoon. We had a room in one of the cottages. A great alternative to the big hotels in the city and a lovely base for getting around. There is a shuttle which runs in to the city centre which we used daily with no issues. The accomodation has so much character and... More
