Great location. It's walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf,Hyde street car final stop, and Lombard street.Free parking, close to bus stops.Room was clean, bed was comfortable.Staff was helpful.AC wasn't working properly.A little bit pricey for an average hotel, but if you want to be close to Pier 39,that's a place to get!

The location however it was VERY EPENSIVE for the facilites that we paid for. The rooms were small and the wifi was slow. The free parking was good though so saved money there. The staff were not overly friendly and the nreakfast was a cold croissant and tea or cooffee which was Ok to jumpstart the day before walking to... More

We needed a last minute hotel in San Francisco as we had a car hired from the Wednesday but checked out of the hosteling international on the Monday. It didn't help that jay-z and Beyoncé were playing the same day! The motel was clean and tidy and the room was adequate for what we paid. The motel did the job,... More

Way over priced. Dirty. Garbage everywhere. Layers of dirt all over the curtains. Cob webs hanging from the ceiling. No breakfast as promised. The place has bed bugs. HORRIBLE place to stay. NEVER AGAIN!!

you'd think this place would not have good rooms for the rates we had, but they were comfortable and everyone got a good nights sleep. we were traveling on a budget and this place definitely met our needs. staff was very friendly and helped us with getting around san francisco and also suggested some good restaurants.

I was looking for a place to stay in San Francisco and i came across the Americas Best Inn San Francisco. The price was reasonable for a San Francisco Hotel. The location is great, close to fishermans wharf, a short bus ride to downtown and all the scenic stops. The rooms were clean and I felt safe there. I recommend... More

This place is totally overpriced... And they say by Fishermans wharf - not even close! The Comfort inn across the street is the same price I should have stayed there.. The breakfast is a joke - coffee dispenser and a croissant .. Room amenities include a tiny bar if soap and a tiny tear- package of toothpaste .. Parking lot... More

The room was average but clean. The breakfast was a joke. Stale croissant and cold coffee only. No choice at all.The location was OK for fisherman's wharf and bus routes and we felt quite safe walking around after dark, but the hotel itself was pretty grim. I would only stay there again if I was very desperate. I would prefer... More

From the pictures that I saw on the web, this looked like a great place to stay and even though it was not all bad, the hotel is in desperate need of an update (and they already have plans to do so). One extremely negative is that the hotel does not have "at-least" one parking space for each guest room... More

We booked this truly appalling motel at the last minute, on the last day of our trip to California. That was a lesson well learnt, I will NEVER leave booking anywhere to the last minute again. The parking was not ideal, but to be fair, I can understand that they only had a certain amount of space and to accommodate... More
