My daughter and I overnighted at Hotel Fusion last week. Needing two beds, I booked a "suite", thinking it would be more spacious than one room with two double beds. At check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to hear we'd been upgraded to "one of the most expensive suites in the hotel". I guess the definition of "suite" is relative. The... more

Hotel Fusion is right in town, in Ellis Street, and although the street is relatively busy the windows are double glazed which cuts the noise right down (and you can open them if you want fresh air, which is a bonus). We upgraded to a king room, as we'd heard the rooms can be a bit small. The room was... more

Stayed at the hotel from 10/03 to 10/07. Here is my humble opinion: - Valet: Ticket says "call 20 min before you need your car" - Most days it took 45 min to 1 hour to get the car. - Room: Felt like a jail cell. Tiny windows, Twin beds, no space for 2 people at all. Smallest room I... more

The hotel is comfortable, located in the heart of San Fran. The location allows you do all the sightseeing without having to travel far. Hotel parking is ridiculous, its best to make arrangements prior to checking in. Valet charges $25 bucks per night! more

Bargain hotel in a great location. The adjacent nightclub is a bonus. Small room but this would be expected. Unfortunately it was unseasonally hot and the room was unbearablely stuffy - but again the location is unbeatable. Short walk to Powell station and the Bart to SFO. Another short walk to Union Square and tourist bus pick-up. more

I thought the location was excellent for someone who is coming in from one of the airports on BART (only a block away from the Powell station). The service was friendly and the facilities were upscale and clean. If you like a smaller European style hotel and don't mind a little city noise in the evenings this is the place... more

Stayed in a single room. No air conditioning but windows open and there is a ceiling fan that works well. Very clean. Room on 4th floor - quiet. Staff friendly. Location excellent. Got a very good rate via expedia. Recommend. more

This hotel is really close to Union Square, this is one of the reasons why we chose it. You can step outside of the hotel and right outside there are designer shops, food places, atms etc so it was really convienent for those. The hotel itself was great value for money, we booked through expedia and got a queen bed... more

Upon entering the room, it was so hot and stuffy that I immediately went to the window to open it. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the window was sealed shut. I never worry about getting a room with a/c in the city because the ocean breeze will always come through and cool things down. In fact, there was... more
