We stayed at Noe's Nest for a long weekend and were in the View Room, which has a large picture window overlooking the back yard. The size of the room was fine, not large but not tiny. It was kind of weird to have the person showing us the room constantly refer to the shower as the honeymoon shower (I... More

It's truly disappointing to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us more, Sterling. Our guests' satisfaction is our top priority, so I assure you that we take your feedback here to heart. We thoroughly clean all of our rooms every day, so it's surprising to read about your experience. It certainly wasn't our intention to give you the... More

We have contributed reviews to Tripadvisor for several years. Up to now, all our reviews have been positive. Unfortunately, because of our experience in Noe’s Nest, we must submit our first negative review. We do not, even for a moment, believe that this will change/improve anything in this property, especially the somewhat egocentric not to say narcissistic behaviour of Sheila,... More

For those who are familiar with Armistead Maupin's 'Tales of the City' books, Noe's Nest is a place where you can immerse yourself in a complete San Francisco experience. It's friendly, homely and professional. Each room is clean and well appointed, as well as being unique. You will certainly feel at home here. The courtyard garden is a delight. The... More

My daughter and I wanted to try a bed and breakfast experience, and to stay where the real San Francisco residents live, rather than the touristy areas. Our room, The View, was lovely and quiet and had a wonderful view. Cindy greeted us and made us feel welcome. You do not get that at a hotel! We were within walking... More

We stayed here in august for our trip in USA. We booked this B&B early in February. Great stay, great breakfast and good position, very quiet. We enjoyed the fabulous collection of objects inside this amazing house in the middle of Sfo.

Our stay at this B&B was absolutely amazing!! Sheila, the owner, and her staff were so pleasant and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious and so diverse! They can make anything you would like! Sheila even took us on a car tour around the area! It was spectacular! When we visit San Francisco again, we know where we will be staying!

This is a very special Bed and Breakfast. Charming, unusual, very good location in Noe Valley. It is not in the middle of the more well know tourist areas but in one of the most charming residential areas of San Francisco. Each room with its own character. Greet breakfast and interesting conversations. It is well located for public transport and... More

Comfortable and clean room, interesting decor, delicious breakfast and friendly people. I kinda felt like I was visiting family. We were able to work with street parking without ever needing to pay. There isn't a lot of parking on the street but it was doable with a bit of planning. Also, this place is a quick commute to everything. Hospitality... More

This house was very unusual, it had many personal artefacts and photos of the owner Sheila. Sheila was very proud of her home and gave us a welcome tour of the area which was great. The rooms were comfortable but had a few tired crannies, one seemed to be able to overlook these because of the interesting house, of which... More

We stayed in à small but cozy room in this beatiful house located close to the Metro. The neigborhood was nice and close to several restaurants - The owner gave us LOTs of recommendations of what to see and where to eat. Clean and tidy. Tasty and fresh breakfast. Shiela and Cindy made us feel very welcome.

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
