Stayed here with friend who was retired Air Force colonel. Got great rates for nice room, full breakfast, and free happy hour nightly. Staff was extremely helpful. The best thing was that the restaurant was just a short walk from Union Square where we caught the recommended tour bus!

As shared by lots of previous reviewers, this is a wonderful place to stay in San Francisco. Conveniently located, great breakfast and happy hour, great staff and free Internet.. What else could you want? The Internet in the room was slow but very fast in the lobby.. Oh well, can't complain with it being free. Breakfast and happy hour were... More

This was my third stay at the hotel and as usual it was very satisfactory. In addition to new bedding and hi def TV they have added a K cup coffee maker. Since it was a confluence of Giants,49ers and America's Cup weekend, the hotel was packed. However, this did not seem to effect happy hour or breakfast. Caveat. If... More

We stayed here two nights during our visit to San Francisco. We were very pleased with the location as it was a short walk to Chinatown, Little Italy and a little longer but doable to Fisherman Wharf. It was also very close to the Cable Car Museum. Our flight arrived before checkin so they held our bags for us and... More

I loved our stay last week at the Marines Memorial Club Hotel. We were two Kiwi "gals" visiting San Francisco for the week. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 9th floor roomy and with very little street noise. Lighting a little dim for my preference, but room clean and tidy.I loved the "happy... More

Our room accommodations, the dining facility, the plaques, pictures of US Marine Corp history and many other splendid memories we enjoyed at this facility helped make our vacation to San Francisco the best in our recent past. We were especially pleased with the outstanding service of Yolanda at the front desk. She was helpful with her recommendations to us as... More

You have to have military retired or active status to stay here but if you qualify I highly recommend it. Room not too large but had wonderful view of the Fairmont Hotel. Breakfast and the complimentary happy hour were fantastic. Staff were helpful and gracious. Lots of wonderful places to eat and shop at if you can walk up a... More

Stayed 3 nights as part of California road trip. Spent ages trying to find a decent hotel in SF but had to face facts that all were pretty expensive for what you get! Best thing about the Marine Memorial was the breakfast, which was really good; the happy hour (although didn't make the most of it as was 4-7pm when... More

If you can qualify for membership in the Club, this hotel is one of the best values in San Francisco. Just around the corner from Union Square, it has comfortable, generously sized rooms, an elegant dining room with spectacular views and a very friendly staff. Convenient cable car connections from Union Square will take you all over the city. (I... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful club. Breakfast is included (although for some reason they never served bacon during our visit), and there is a complementary happy hour in the late afternoon. We had one dinner in the dining room, and it was excellent -- my wife had the Lamb Osso Bucco (which she said was... More
