You are right smack in the middle of the city, You could expect to spend double for the same likeness in other hotels. The staff is great, the view from the dining room is great, the dinner menu boast steak which they can rightly do so. The breakfast well done for a buffet not to mention happy hour ever evening.... The Marines Memorial Club is primarily operated as a benefit for our active duty service men and women and for veterans. I am neither, so did not get the special rate - active duty pay $99 for a basic room with a full breakfast and with open bar from 4-6 PM, veterans pay $199 for the same. So if you... More

I have been a member here many years so I always stay here when in the City. Great rates make membership worthwhile but non-members also get decent room rates. Rooms have been recently remodeled and upgraded so they are more comfortable than in prior years. The key here is a great location two blocks from a Union Square and theater... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times and every time I get excellent customer service and a great night's sleep. They are continuously upgrading the facilities and just recently completed their restaurant.

I was extremely fortunate to spend a few days with my Dad and in the company of other retired U.S. Marine Corps officers that served in a very unique role in Viet Nam. They had decided to hold their reunion at their namesake's Memorial Club Hotel in downtown San Francisco. The only thing more exceptional than the service and accommodations... More

Marines Memorial Club Hotel is a decent hotel. Facilities are good and the staff is friendly. It is also located close to Union Square and has a spacious ballroom for events. It's rooms could be a bit better, however.

We have a military background but not necessary to stay here. We had an extended stay due to medical issues and staff were very helpful in extending our stay although full over the weekend. Plentiful breakfast that kept us going for most of the day and s happy hour each evening with sunset views of the city. We meet many... More

I stayed here with my fiancee for a week this summer and we were both glad we were able to. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean with each floor showcasing some aspect of Marine Corps history. We particularly enjoyed the member's happy hour on the second floor. The happy hour on the top floor however was very good as... More

I stay here every visit to SF. It is so good in every way and I am reciprocal member so the room rates are very reasonable. Staff are so helpful. Nothing is difficult or extra it seems which I love about 'club land'. Internet is free and simple. Breakfast is good, free moderate choice buffet. They have a fab happy... More
