I stayed at the hotel for a week while on business. While I do my best to avoid hotels in favor of short-term rental condos, i decided to try this property based on my always-reliable fellow TripAdvisor contributors. Yes, my room was small but it was more than sufficient for a solo traveller (and would be just fine for a... More

Its a nice hotel with friendly hotel lobby staff. The room was small, especially when you have a baby who wants to roam around. The general feel for this hotel is "old" but its okay nonetheless. Breakfast selection was very limited and one waitress was a bit rude, asking us to "let her know when we use the table" but... More

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor. We never would have thought of it otherwise. It is located only two blocks from Union Square. For a nice hotel it is reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. A very good breakfast is included. There are a great number of reminders this a Marine hotel. However, it generally is... More

The location is wonderful Sutter and Mason ~ close to all public transportation. Although the lobby is a bit dated, it holds a certain charm and reverence. Each floor is dedicated to a person, event, or group. Such rich history ~~ you could spend hours in this living military memorial looking at the walls and cabinets. Really feel that you... More

Definitely a place to see if you are tied to the Marine Corp. A great place to stay as a member. Amazing rooms and service! The memorials and library throughout the hotel are well done and the bulldogs roaming some of the floors is a cool touch.

I was recently at the club for a Memorial Day event, but the club itself has more to offer - the rooftop. Very old fashioned and a beautiful view and wonderful piano music. Expect to see the way older generation here adding to the charm

Good location, although parking is expensive $30 a night even when you are a member . Great breakfast included & happy hour! Rooms are average size , bathroom kinda small, just a shower. But for $99 you definitely can't complain for a city hotel !

The Marines’ Memorial Club is in a great Union Square location – right on the corner of Sutter & Mason. This place is a living museum with military souvenirs, displays, memorials, and other items on every floor. There is much to interest anyone. Our room was inexpensive and nicely appointed with a TV, safe, desk, coffee maker, and small refrigerator.... More

The Marine's Memorial Club has it all. We booked through Booking.com and received a very favorable rate. We'd stayed many years ago several times when my parents were members. It is even better than I remembered. They pay tribute to the Marines through their pictures and stories they tell in the lobby and one of the guest floors. The location... More

Great service and centrally located. The decor and theater remind visitors of those who served their country. Clean (as you would expect), and service to meet the most demanding standard. Happy hour on the 12th floor overlooking part of the Bay and the City skyline. Great place to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast has something for everyone.... More
