Forced to stay here for a work event for 2 nights. Was difficult for the driver to find from the airport and we ended up taking an extra 20 minutes because the GPS was wrong. Check in experience was fine, they gave me a welcome bag that my company arranged for all attendees. The elevator took a long time to... More

My husband and I had 3 nights here in March. We booked the lead-in room which was a bit small for our two suitcases but other than that - everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the service was great, and the location was super for exploring San Francisco. We also enjoyed the complimentary happy hour every evening and the... More

Marines Club is a hotel well located but with need to improve their rooms as well as the breakfast services. Service is not outstanding. Right choice if you are looking for competitive prices in an appropiate location. Gym is good but also old fashion

This is a members only club dedicated to the members of the Armed Services, Veterans and their families. We go to SF once a year and always stay in the Marines Memorial Club Hotel. It's located just outside the business district and close to Chinatown. It's nice, clean and well kept. It's not inexpensive, eventhough its a members club. But,... More

We love the marine memorial and are members who visit at least 5 or 6 times each year. My husband being a retired marine loves to sit and talk to people in the bar and we have been fortunate enough to meet several WWII vets and listen to stories in the past few years. The prices are not to be... More

We stay at the Marine's Memorial at least once a year and enjoy the great location of the hotel to Union Square and China Town. The staff is always amazingly friendly. The free cocktail hour is a great social time with beautiful views of the city (although the bar has been moved to the other side of the room so... More

Nice location. Very average decor. But if you plan on using all of the hotel facilities, plan on adding $75 to your bill, as they require that you join the "club", if you do. Even disabled Marine Corps vets are required to join. So don't be fooled by the name. It's just a profit making hotel capitalizing on the Marine... More

Catering to membership from the various armed forces, the Marines Memorial Club Hotel could hardly be a more friendly place to stay. The staff goes out of its way to please. Breakfast and afternoon cocktails are included with the room, as is Wi-Fi. Parking is at a nearby garage for a reasonable rate (for San Francisco). Dinner can be booked... More

A private club, this "memorial" is so much more meaningful (and useful) than a stone or bronze statue. The rooms are fantastic, the location is prime, the service is wonderful, and the history is reverent. I have been a member since my Navy days back during the Vietnam War. I have stayed at the club often in every kind of... More

Thank so very much for the kind endorsement of the Marine' Memorial Association. I am pleased to report that bathrooms down the hall are part of our history but no longer our present. We are 90% complete of a $4 million dollar renovation... made possible by the support of individuals like yourself. Respectfully, Michael More

Excellent location...a block from the street trolley and two blocks from the square. I really don't think you could pick a better location. There's valet parking a few doors down for 36 per night. It is a beautiful hotel that included a cocktail reception and buffet breakfast. If you are a military member make sure to call the hotel directly... More

As part of the mission of the Marines' Memorial Association, we provide currently serving members of the military with complimentary membership (applications in person only) and below cost accommodations of $99 per night. Roughly 20% of all rooms rented are provided to our currently serving membership which requires a financial commitment of $1.4 million annually to subsidize. Reservations for our... More
