This was a great find in SF! The hotel is wonderful, located near Union Square and a quick walk to downtown and the Moscone Center (where my brother was attending a conference). It's also located along a cable car line, or you can even walk to Fisherman's Wharf (if you don't mind some serious hills - tip, take water!). The... More

I would highly recommend this hotel for a business trip SF. The hotel is conveniently located. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was free and amazing. I was super impressed with Cathy who took such good care of me at breakfast daily. The wifi was free and speedy. The room was decent... More

I am a member of the club, and this hotel is by far the best, not just in terms of value and location, the actual facility is wonderful. We stay at the Marine Memorial every time we go to San Fran and never have second thoughts. Beyond the great hotel, the access to the Leatherneck Steakhouse for breakfast and happy... More

After touring California on a Harley for 2 weeks we spent our 3rd week at the Marines Memorial Hotel. My wife had spent a lot of time researching hotels in San Francisco and we were not disappointed. It was a fantastic base for access to the local sights. It was great value for money, with great food. A very nice... More

Marines Memorial Hotel is a living memorial to our armed forces. Beautifully done, well decorated. Rooms varie, it is a old hotel, so rooms are not standard. Great location near Union square. Great happy hour and good breakfast

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We were guests of members and parents of active duty military so we thoroughly enjoyed the museum quality memorabilia. Our room was on the 5th floor, had two queen size beds and plenty of room. The bathroom has a pedestal sink which does not leave much room for cosmetics etc. All the staff... More

Highly recommend. Just a few blocks away from union square and cable car stops. The hotel is dedicated with all military memorabilia and it is quite nice to see. We reserved a queen size room and it was more than what we expected. We were on the 8th floor and had very nice views of the city. Bathroom was big... More

I come from a Marine family, so when my sister chose this location for her wedding (to a Marine!) we were all thrilled. The function room was beautiful and traditional for a sunset wedding. Very nice service staff. We were less than happy with the catering coordinator, Maryann, who was quite unfriendly and unprofessional. Those of us that stayed over... More
