The location is so central and the room was comfortable and a good size. A little disappointed that our room had no view but the club was fully booked when we were there and at the end of the day this did not matter as we were out and about sight seeing. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, and... More

What a great hotel, 3 minutes from Union Square. Very reasonably priced. Good breakfast included, also happy hour from 4 till 6, when drinks and snacks are free! Amazing. Plumbing was rather noisy, lot of strange noises which affected the sleep quality a little. Rooms not large but excellent value.

This was recommended by a friend and we found it to be exceptional! As a retired AF officer, I joined the club to receive club benefits and was not disappointed. Everything was great! The roof top restaurant for complimentary cocktails, the morning breakfast, large room, beautiful building, perfect location and an outstanding staff! If there was one exception, it was... More

As an active duty Military member, this hotel hooked us up with a fantastic deal. The Location is central and the breakfast is solid. Overall, this is the only place i'll stay at if we ever make it back to San Francisco. Nothing short of 5 stars.

This destination is fantastic for visiting San Francisco. The accommodations are wonderful at a great price and the high ceilings and huge bathtubs make it a visit to an older more lavish time. Having live theatre right in the building is a wonderful perk and the cocktail lounge on the top of the hotel is fabulous for enjoying the city... More

We stayed here for a family trip and found the location wonderful! The location is next to union square and only a few blocks from the trolley that takes you down to the wharf. The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was amazing! Parking was also easy as they offered discounted parking for the garage just half a... More

Before the review: the pricing. Apparently DownTown SF is known to be ridiculously expensive so I won’t expand on the high price we paid, I will just provide what I think to be the relevant elements independently from the bill we had to pay. Perfectly located at 609 Sutter Street in DownTown San Francisco, MMC features friendly and skilled staff... More

Don't be thrown off by the "Marines" part of the hotel name. Anyone can stay here and enjoy great staff and service. Breakfast is unbeatable with designer omelets that you select the ingredients. The room was fine although I understand that many are being updated in the hotel. Every night there is a 2 hour happy hour where soft drinks... More

When I first got there one of the elevators wasn't working. I was tired and annoyed. But it was only a brief glitch. The room was comfortable and well laid out. Quiet and restful. The public areas were sparkling and well decorated. The breakfast was perfect. But the very best thing was the staff. From top to bottom courteous respectful... More

We wanted somewhere central with decent-sized rooms (as many SF hotels have very small rooms) and a relaxed atmosphere. We weren't disappointed. You can't really get a better location—we used it as a base to walk north to Chinatown, Little Italy, Fisherman's Wharf, Russian and Knob Hill; east to watch a baseball game at AT&T Park; south down to the...
