This hotel opened my eyes about not wasting money on cheap as cheap is too expensive. I ruined my first day of the trip and also heard bad things from my wife and kid. This hotel is the epitome of zero service, dirty room and the area with plethora of crazy people. Please pay 30% more and stay at a... More

Don't stay here unless you are in a very tight budget. Me and my friend went to this place as part of the cheapest package we could find to stay in San Francisco. We wanted to be in the city and not around the airport and it wasn't a very good experience. I was not upset when we arrived and... More

I really thought this trip would be fun. I am on the bus home unshowered, smelling and dirty and very tired having not slept for 2-3 days as I feared falling asleep on the streets. I am thankful to have gotten a refund but I wish they could've done something while I was in the city, not 3-7 days later.... More

Overall assessment, your worst nightmare. I left $450 there and made them free to rent the room many times over, due to the non refundable policy. Don't be fooled by the few good words in some ratings, obviously exaggerated or worse. When asked why the management does not refute the allegations, reaction was no comment just a smile. First indication... More

Our Flight was cancelled at San Francisco airport on 22 July and we were abandoned by United at midnight to sort ourselves out. After trying all the airport hotels, which were full, at 1am we rang Expedia. I explained that we need an hotel from that time and that night as our flight wasn't until 24 July, ie effectively, 2... Read the reviews and trust them; they are all true. It was like a horror movie. Way too much money for a disgustingly horrible place. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Giving it 1 star is 1 star too many. Unfortunately I did not have control of the booking situation but within seconds I was able... More

A neat little hotel that sits close to the pier and chinatown. My only complaints were they wouldn't allow visitors and were very firm about it. if you have companions who aren't staying at the same hotel, I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you plan to have them over for the night

This, by far, is the worst hotel I have ever had the opportunity to use. I stayed in it for the RSA Conference in San Francisco. The hotel is in the Tenderloin District. It is close to some fine restaurants and other attractions, but it is a hole. Although my room was one of the rooms with a private bathroom,... More

We were surprised that the hotel receptionist insisted on a 250 dollar down payment in case we smoked in a non smoking room. Expedia, who arranged the booking, do not warn customers of this practice. This 2 star hotel in other respects lived up to expectations ie good cleanliness, restful environment, Central position etc.

The hotel is very dated, and the elevator is downright antique - but in good condition. Decent-seized room with bathroom, nice and clean. No roaches or mice observed! I read complaints about the neighborhood and true, if you walk up the street the scene deteriorates very fast. But not where the hotel itself is. Just a few blocks from Union... More
