Very friendly staff, who are willing to help whenever possible never intrusive. By the second day they even remember your name at the front door! Clearly have hand selected staff. Dining was great but since we were in SF spent considerable time dining elsewhere. Took the BART from the airport and arrived almost outside the front door. Nice. Not much... More

...but far enough to block out much of the noise of Market Street; our room overlooked Yerba Buena Gardens with views out to AT&T Park (comfortable walk back to hotel after a ball game) and the bay beyond. Pretty much what you would expect from a Four Seasons; comfortable, clean and discreet. Not a bargain, but by no means extortionate... More

We have stayed here multiple times for business. Easy access to Mosconi center and shopping. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have always enjoyed our stay at the Four Season's and look forward to returning in October.

The hotel is very nice and in very good condition. All of the staff were exceptional and willing to do everything and anything to help. We were on a high floor and it was still a little noisy, but I guess that comes with being in a big city. The reasons I only gave four out of five are as... More

Thank you for your candid remarks about your visit, especially the food and the elevators. I was glad to hear that overall, the hotel and staff and location were exceptional otherwise. While I can't change the layout of the elevators, I have shared your feedback with the chef. We have just rolled out a new seasonal menu and I hope... More

The room and the in room service was the best for me. Also the in room snacks and drinks were also great for me as I didn't have much time to move around. The business center was equipped with free Wifi and the facilities were good for doing a bit of work. Finally the staff were wonderful, professional and very... More

Unbelievable amount of service and attention to detail. My tour company forgot to pick me up and the manager on duty saw me standing for quite awhile waiting. She immediately sprung into action calling the tour company and arranging an immediate transfer for me to the coach depot. I did not miss my tour thanks to the four Seasons! I... More

This hotel is well situated near the majority of shops in the downtown area and close enough to walk to the arts market down the end of Market St and Fisherman's Wharf. The room did not have any view to speak of and we found the decor a little bland. The large bathroom was good and featured L’Occitane toiletries. The... More

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We do receive a lot of positive remarks about the hotel's staff and location, and was glad to hear you felt the same. Were you able to visit the Ferry Building and Union Square? For the restaurant, I believe you are speaking of MKT Restaurant (as we closed... More

Four Seasons aims to be a luxury hotel chain and pretty much fills the bill. From the white robes and slippers to the Occitane Provence soap in the bathroom, your stay is filled with all manner of little details to make you feel pampered. The SF location is convenient to public transportation but also walkable to many a sight or... More

I spent 5 days at the Four Seasons in SF last month and was more than satisfied. The hotel;, conference center and service were second to none. They have a great concierge staff that made life easy in finding restaurants and shopping. The rooms are light, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only downside is the cost. Four Seasons is... More

Extremely comfortable hotel, Big rooms comfortable bed (king), good linen. Well appointed bathroom. Fittings a bit old fashioned and possibly needing a refurbish but overall well maintained. Good bar and breakfast if a bit expensive.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
