We booked a one night stay here to celebrate our anniversary. I could not find dinner reservations so I called the concierge desk for help. She not only got us into the restaurant I had been unable to book earlier, but she informed the staff at the Four Seasons it was our anniversary. We were greeted at the front desk... More

This hotel is on a great location and has a great customer service. The rooms are clean and have a good size. There not very modern but you have everything you need. The bar in the lobby is good and at night a "to be" spot. For the gym you can access the Equinox gym in the building, great selection... More

I was so glad to hear that you thought the hotel's service and location were excellent. Equally, it was great to see that you took advantage of the complimenary access to Equinox and had spent some time at MKT bar. I hope to welcome you back to the hotel soon. Beautiful hotel. Room was quite large and very well appointed. Good city view. Excellent location on Market about 20- 25 minute walk to the Ferry Building or Little Italy! Friendly and highly professional staff.

It's a Four Seasons hotel, so it must be good. But the Four Seasons in San Francisco is special because it is well located on Market Street - a few minutes walk to important shopping areas. Run down, you're right on Embarcadero as well - a dream route for many runners. The Engineering department also helped me in changing the... More

I appreciate you writing to tell us about your stay with us! A run on the Embarcadero is quite lovely with the views of the Bay Bridge, so you can get exercise and see parts of the city too. I was glad to hear that our high-touch service met high technology, whether it was being able to use Apple TV... More

Was this some sort of joke? I'm still waiting for the camera people to come out and tell me it was practical joke the whole time. Never again. This Four Seasons is a joke. The entire hotel would make a nice Westin, at four stars and about half of what they charged. The room we had was tiny and bland.... More

My only complaint was that the address provided on the Expedia confirmation was not at all helpful for finding the hotel with our rental car, because the entrance for cars is actually quite well hidden down a tiny little back street. This small detail cost us an extra 30 minutes of driving around in rush hour traffic before we finally... More

Thank you for letting us konw about the incorrect address on Expedia. We're working with them to update their records to include our main drive at 217 Stevenson Street. Otherwise, I am glad to hear that the rest of your stay was wonderful. Regards, Christian Klaus Hotel Manager More

Not bad. Nothing outstanding springs to mind but wasn't a poor experience at all. I stayed at the Hyatt on a previous business trip to San Fran which was absolutely awful so this was a positive for me. The location is convenient and I love the fact that the gym is actually an Equinox rather than a rubbish gym. Food... More

The hotel provide spacious accommodation, located at the heart of SF and within walking distance to tram/ train and busses. I attended a conference at the SF convention center and the Four Seasons was a walking distance away. Stayed at the city view room - you can hear some city noise because I was closer to the lower floor, higher... More

Stayed at the Four Seasons for Outsideland Music Festival. Location of hotel is great for shopping downtown but a little far from a lot of touristy sites. Luckily it was easy to get cars via Uber to get around. Room was very nice and comfortable as expected from a Four Seasons hotel. We didn't spend much time at hotel so... More

How was your Outside Lands experience? While we are a little farther from Golden Gate Bridge, we're quite close to the waterfront/Embarcadero and other local attractions. I hope you have the chance to experience more of the hotel next time, whether it be our restaurant, MKT, or Equinox Sports Club. Looking forward to welcoming you back. Quite simply, as someone who travels a lot, the is one of the best run hotels in the world, with amazing service. Located right on Market Street, you're in the CBD, but yet can easily walk to the Ferry Building, or AT&T Park, etc. I love staying her and will do so many times more in the years to come.... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
