Not much to say here that hasn't already been said. This is a top-notch property, located minutes from the Montgomery Street BART/Muni station, but far away where noise isn't an issue. Service was very friendly, and the room was impeccable. Free wifi was excellent, but in true Courtyard style, there was a $9.95 charge for "enhanced" internet (basically, anything beyond... More

This is the Courtyard for crying out loud, why do I have to pay a five star price for a three star hotel? The rooms are dated, the furniture is crappy, the sink drains slowly. I have discovered that depending on which room you get, you of course get different amenities. Some rooms have an outlet on the bedside table... More

Great location for attending ball game at AT&T Park. Comfy beds. However, came in at 11PM and bar was closing. Lots of people around wanting a nite cap and no-go. Rather strange for San Francisco. Kind of a topic of conversation in lobby and out in patio with fire pit - which was lovely.

Thanks for your recent review of our hotel! I was happy to hear the location worked well for you and you were able to enjoy a Giants game at AT&T Park! I understand your frustration regarding the Whispers Bar and Grill hours. We have recently decided to extend the serving hours as we are, indeed, seeing much busier evenings since... More

The room was perfect, the location was perfect, and the staff and service were all very accomodating and nice. It is much cheaper then staying at a few other locations because it is not as close to everything but we never had a problem getting around. We walked to the ferry building every day for our coffee and breakfast and... More

I've stayed at several Courtyard Marriott hotels and these hotels offer consistency. The location is about a 7 minute walk from the Montgomery BART station. It's an easy walk to Union Square and a bit farther for the Embarcadero. If you are in town for a conference, Moscone is about a quick 5 minute walk from this hotel. The hotel... More

I was here for 3 nights on business - was pleasantly surprised with the room size and the lobby area. Room was clean, bathroom was fine, water pressure good in the shower and hot water seemed plentiful. Lots of street noise but did not hear much of it with the window closed. I appreciated having a mini fridge in the... More

This hotel is located on a busy corner in the SOMA district of the city. We requested a lowest floor room, which put us on the 4th floor. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but street noises, noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway penetrated into our space. The small dressing room next to the bathroom and closet was... More

I traveled with my wife and two college age sons so I needed 2 rooms. By the time I booked, it was too late to get 2 rooms anywhere else and not pay a total of 700+ per night. So the Courtyard 2 room suite with the sofa bed and a rollaway was my best cost option allowing us to... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week while on vacation. We stayed in a double queen room which was comfortable, however the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Starbucks on-site was a plus. We wish we would have been a little closer to more of the tourist attractions, but we were always able to find... More

My daughter and I stayed here last weekend for her first visit to San Francisco. We left our car in the hotel garage and walked/cabbed/bused everywhere we wanted to go. The location was an easy walk to Union Square with fabulous shopping and ready access to the hop-on bus and cable cars, but it felt good to leave the crowds... More

Thanks so much for your kind review. I absolutely agree that walking and public transportation are the only way to see San Francisco. Leaving the car behind was the right call! We often receive feedback about the convenience of our location to all the SF sites coupled with our relatively peaceful neighborhood. I am very happy you and your daughter... More
