We stayed on new years eve and surprisingly it was very quiet. This hotel was better than we expected. Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed!..was like sleeping on a cloud. Nice smelling toiletries. Breakfast was better than what most hotels have. Will definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We stayed in a great room on the 4th floor with its own private deck and a small view of the Golden Gate bridge. It is a brisk walk to the waterfront, about 5 blocks down and 5 blocks over. For the price we paid, the short walk was worth the $80-100 savings... More

I stayed this da vinci villa in San Francisco California. I thought that there were some mixed comments I read about the hotel, I was hesitant to booked first but then it's be a use it was the cheapest and close to fisherman's wharf, union square and Lombard winding road ., I did give it a go. When we arrived... More

da Vinci Villa was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to other travellers. We were unexpectantly upgraded to the 5th floor with a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The room was a generous size with 2 queen beds. The bathroom was very clean too. We enjoyed the breakfast and it was far better that... More

We visit San Francisco each year and like to stay on Fisherman's Wharf. This year we tried the DaVinci and it was a superior value. The towels exceeded any that we experienced on our trips. They were softer, whiter, more thirsty and just wonderful. It is very close to the bus stop going to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli, cable car turnaround... More

This was a really great place to stay. The staff is fabulous, especially Angel the front desk supervisor who couldn't have been nicer. I had a nice room and will stay here again. Really nice experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights after our cruise. The front desk staff were great; very helpful and always greeted you with a warm smile. The location is an 8 minute walk from the 'famous' Lombard Street (have to walk up a steep hill) and a 15 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf..NO BIG HILLS. Wanted to mention that as it... More

This place is awesome! It was the perfect combination of amenities and proximity to sites for us. Unlike most other hotels around here, Da vinci provides most everything that you need. It is a great value! We really appreciated the free wifi complimentary breakfast :-) The fruit infused water in the lobby as well as the bananas and apples made... More

This hotel layout is very different than any other I've stayed at. It is built as a hollow square with the entrance being on the inside part of the square. The outdoor pool is in the middle at the bottom so if your in the pool everyone has a good view of you. This is great for families with children.... More

After traveling most of the day to get here we were greeted by Yvette's smiling face as we entered the hotel lobby. Her professionalism and warmth continued to shine as she checked us in. She made sure to explain the facility and it's amenities fully to us. An added customer amenity was the fresh fruit and mixed fruit fused water.... More

Staying in Russian Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Russian Hill
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner. Combined with several great cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any visitor would gladly leave their heart in San Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world, and make the slow creep downhill past charming period homes. Polk Street is the main drag in this neighborhood, where you will find trendy bars, cafes and shops populated with locals, but for one of the most charming rides in the city, grab a cable car heading up and down Hyde Street.
