Excellent location within walking distance of Union Square and the Powel / Hyde tramway. Very clean and quiet with friendly and helpful staff. The concierge gave great restaurant recommendations

Couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. Very clean, well-appointed room. Spacious bathroom. Friendly staff, especially doormen Cornell and David, and desk staff, including Grace. In SFO for business, didn't want to pay high $$$ for fancy hotel. Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Lots of restaurants close by plus Starbucks! Only negative is the AC did not work too well.

Stayed here in January 2012. So happy with the central location, perfect for getting anywhere in San Fran. Rooms were quiet and the beds were so comfortable. Friendly staff and would most definitely stay again, in fact we wanted to for a night on our stop over before departing the USA but they were all booked out.

Orchard hotel is very well located right by Chinatown and financial district. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast is the best we had so far in SF

We have been using the Orchard for the last couple of years on our trips to San Francisco. The price is reasonable and it has a great location. We have never had a problem with the rooms or cleanliness although I would like firmer pillows.
