Except location, there is nothing good to say for this hostel. Therebis only one bathroom for a floor, and the room is small and not clean. The price isn't too cheap to stay. Think about it!

The Hostel is located in the beating heart of San Francisco, 3 mins to the BART and MUNI trains. the interior, especially the bathrooms and taps are a bit old and crusty, but still work. Breakfast is provided as a sheer infinite amount of pancake pastry. You can make them yourself in the kitchen, which is big but not equipped... More

The hostel itself is excellent. The location is great. I had a good time here, but a few of the people behind the counter seemed to think they were defending the premise from criminals and thieves. I have never had such inflexible and callous people check me in before. The manager was very friendly, but a few of the staff... More

Common area was very nice and cozy - with sofas, little "stage", pool tables and so on. Room was not that nice though. We had room for four people, when we got there we immediately saw cockroach on the wall. Beds were dirty and there was a weird smell. The room had a little sink and a mirror and a... More

I am really shocked to read the other reviews on this page as, despite not being the most luxurious place ive ever stayed, this hostel does the job and with talk of a complete facelift for the new year I have no doubt that the new (fantastic!!) management team will get this place looking superb. The main things I was... More

If you want to save your money, that might be good for staying, but for me I will not come back again. The room smelled like drain, I found a stain of coffee on bed sheets, bathroom was so dirty. It was not comfortable to stay.

Upon arrival the staff where disinterested rude and unhelpful. We were staying on the 6th floor and the elevator only goes to the 5th. The elevator is another story, it is disgusting and I don't even think it's legal. Once we get into our room I notice a smell that resembles urine. Finally settled in and lay down on the... More

We had to choose this hostel because we where a little late with our reservations, the three of us (guys) where really occupied because of all the bad reviews here and even thought of canceling one night. But, it is not so bad as everyone here says. Location: The location of the hostel is great, (the allys might be a... More
